Gurfateh, Just a quick one here. I've been to a few Gurdwara where they are give sweets/chocolates as Parsaad. I think its nice that the children can enjoy them or something to relate to, and yes I end up having some too lol. But some of them have egg contents as you probably know. I've taken them away from there and told someone, but I feel people need to be educated or as least have a list of what they can have or cant. Anyone have any suggestions?

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh. I have posted a letter I wrote and a response from the BBC regarding issues concerning Sikhs and the BBC. I am aware that there Sikh users of this board who can produce better quality reports then the one I have written. Additionally, I am aware that I have barely backed up issues regarding the BBC Asian Network (messageboards and radio shows) as I did not anticipate that I would be making a complaint and therefore I did not keep a log. I would like to know if the sangat on this board agrees with the issues outlined in the complaint below. Please note: some of the news article references have been edited since.. Any feedb…

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! What qualities should a Granthi / Gyani have before a Gurudwara employs them? What kind of Granthis would you like to see at your Gurdwara? Thanks!

I'm sure some of you have heard about the recent attacks on Asians in London near City University. A group of black and white youth were responsible. Does anyone know if Sikhs were attacked too. As the media is saying asians and sometimes it is saying muslim asians. Whether Sikhs were involved or not it doesn't really matter as i'm sure these daft racist scum don't know the difference between muslims and sikhs anyway. Sikhs should be careful around that area. so, I started researchin most religions and I started with Islam. I kno most bits of islam, but Im confused cuz wen I saw a website comparin sikhism to islam, i found this: Sikhism’s founder not so ruthless or violent as Islam’s. Sikhism’s deity not so ruthless or violent as Islam's. Wat does that mean, why are they so ruthless why are they so violent!? sorry i just don't know, Bhul Chuck Maaf, WJKK WJKF
