True spirituality is Simplicity. For God or Truth is indicated to be very simple. Therefore, genuine peace and happiness (Anand) can only be found in Simplicity. That's why the Gurbani makes the declaration that "If you are wise, be Simple." But to be wise and simple is not as straightforward as it sounds, because our stubborn Maya-mind is accustomed to novelty and constant wandering. It's the false ego-sense or Haume that makes us forget Simplicity or humility. Our Haume- or ego-mind being complex like the onion peels, does not like simplicity. It looks for cause for everything; thus making simple things complicated. The ego-mind wants complexity because it's not conten…

You're walking down the street, you are approached by someone, they ask if you have a minute or two to spare for a quick survey, you say you're in a hurry to get somewhere and rush off. Further down you are stopped again, this time someone offers you something in return for a minute of your time, pleased at the fact you will get something in return you stop and give up some of your time. These people attract us by giving us things that please our mind, that satisfy our needs, maybe they come dressed in certain clothes, or they speak in a certain way to get your attention. If you ask a friend for help again and again you can bet that eventually that friend will get annoye…

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh dear all, please do not have a debate if you dont know what i have asked. please see the hukamnama from shri akal takhat sahib ji. in the hukamnama it says: Debates presented in relation to Sri Dasam Granth are totally needless. No one has the right to present a questionable debate on the writings from Dasam Granth which the Panth has accepted and uses for the Sikh Rehit Maryada, Nitnem and Amrit Sanchaar. The whole Panth should be reminded that Sri Dasam Granth is an inseparable part of Sikh history, but Guru Gobind Singh Ji did not give it equal status to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and for this reason no other Granth can be …

Article to refute an attack on Guru Nanak Dev ji on a anti-Sikh muslim site. Please read http://searchsikhism.com/savior.html " Throughout the article "The Expendable Wife" Muslims have made ridiculous assumptions about Guru Nanak Sahib and tried to show him as a neglectful man which is far from the actual truth. Further, the claim is made that Guru Sahib is not an ideal role model for the humanity to follow. In this article, by Guru's grace we will not only disapprove the polemics of Muslims but also prove that Guru Sahib is by far the best role model and show the trueness of Guru Nanak Sahib, the only true savior of the world. Guru Nanak Sahib is the Satgur…
