Mans has notiched on social media dat alot of singhnia be posting phots of themselves. Sat Sri Akal Sangat JI I inquired about having an Akhand Path Sahib at Gravesend Gurdwara. I approached one comittee member who informed me that it will cost £5000.00 Personally I believe this to be beyond my means. Can someone clarify this or have I been misguided? Thankyou. H.

I'm addicted to Pornography. I have seen a couple of therapists who recommended I go to SAA meetings (Sex Addicts Anonymous). They are very good apparently. My only problem is I feel funny going wearing a dastar. I feel like it would be bringing shame on Sikhs or religion etc. As we Sikhs are supposed to be spiritual, strong etc. I'd feel quite embarrassed. Any advice on what to do?

I thought after becoming an amritdhari the attention off girls would stop and my Kaam would go weaker , for some reason I feel like it has got stronger. Since I can't post anymore after being banned for sticking up for AKJ (and I am not even AKJ lol) anyway since I can't post this under my own account, still wanted to share. Eyewitness accounts from survivors of the 1947 Kabali Raid in Kashmir. I got privilege to work on this project. It's only first episode (I did the editing) and for future episodes I also got to do all the video shooting as well. Can honestly say it was difficult for all of us seeing the emotion coming upon recalling the tragic memories. Their stories need to be shared.

I would like to do it on 1984 Operation Blue Star because it’s close to my heart but I do not know what avenue to take on it and cannot think of possible questions. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
