This is probably a silly question, but is cutting the lawn a bad thing spiritually? grass is life, insects/worms live in it, so if i cut the lawn is this bad cos i will be killing all of this life? i don't know what to do, expect for a now i have got myself in a difficult situation. I've been friends with this girl for over 5years now, but have come to the realisation that my feelings for her are stronger. This girl is amazing and has a positive influence on me.She comes from a Gursikh family and has very strong beliefs and i know she would never consider me to be anything apart from her brother. the title says it all. i beleive in that we have some will, but surely major events like this are already decided? what do u think, do we choose who we end up with or is it god??? E.g. my uncle when he was young, got told by a pandit, that he was gona get married twice. n that happened! so surely it was destined who he ended up with, and itd b some1 whod die young enuf, for him 2 be remarried. I have just finished my exams and have been offered work by my Dad. The thing is I dont want to join the family business but am feeling pressure. I also dont know what I want to do career wise , if i want to study more or get a job. Also my brother and sister is a doctor and lawyer and I feel pressured to follow in their footsteps.

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -
