It is a pity,that the Bani, instead of making us mature and broadminded, can not effect as such on us, because we are rigidly closed minded with our own agyanta, which we do not want to leave and come out of it. So naturally we are to be blammed, not the Bani. Then too we are so petty minded, we use the name of the Bani as our shield to cover our weaknesses, our own insecurities, so how can we ever overcome them? Then if we see someone waliking confidently, within the parameters of the Bani and sound logic, we feel mentally perturbed, we can not witsthand seeing someone independant, without the restrictions we have put on ourselves. Then too, we foolishly, name the Bani and say, it does not say so or so... The teachings of Gurmat, are to make us balanced and mature, and above all free from agyantta. But we have been so much time in darkness, that we like bats prefer that sweet darkness, than to lit the light of Gurmat within us, and to benefit from its purifying Light. This Light of Gurmat, makes us more human beings, and as said before, free us slowly and slowly from all our bondages and agyanta and moorakhta. But this light, does not come like that, it is lit by putting into practice the teachings of our Guru Sahibans. So, Balbir Jee, when you throw your false accusations, is that not, not sticking to the topic of this thread ? But when I goodheartedly, try to clarify you, you say, stick to the thread? The pure paviter Bani, is nothing but ustatee, vadeayee, mahima of Wahiguru, which if heard, it purifies one ears; ir recited, it purifies our polluted mouths, and if written, it purifies our dirty hands, and this Bani, then leads us to the inner true Bani. So for once and all, mahima is glory, is greatness, of that one Akal Purukh. Guru Maharaj, does not say, do not sing His glory, neither does it say when to eat, or drink or sleep, or talk. Come on man, we should not be that rigid. Our father Wahiguru is not a dictator, He has give us freedom to use it responsibily. The Bani does not say, do not drive a car, or travel in planes., or many other normal things we do daily...then according to your limited thinking we sholuld not do that even... the Bani does not say also that 2 + 2 is four, but do we because of that, stop with arithmetics? Come on man, do not be so petty minded and name the Bani for it The only thing, we should keep in mind, is not trespassing His Hukum, because then we incurr in sins. We should not feel jealous, neither cheat, nor hurt anyone deliberately or unintentionally. We should, aath paher, keep our mind in His Simran and chintan, so that we may not fall down and be ashamed of our deeds. For me, Wahiguru is my true Father, and me being His child, I only want to either talk about Him, or listen about Him, which is nothing, but His Mahima. Of course, we can never ever sing all His countles virtues, but if we just stick to just a few of His virtues, the rest of the virtues and Kul Malik Sachay Patshah Wahiguru will come and dwell within us. Virtues which can help us to walk on the path of Guramt are, humility, forgiveness, patience, and above all His Simran Now do not tell me that, that infinite and big Lord, how can He come and dwell within us? Does someone think that God will judge them on how they differentiate between Sadhoo and gurmukh ? The only judgment as far as i understand is on How much we love both a sadhoo and gurmukh ! God is love and love is god itself. The 'Waheguru' is the praise to GURU- the one that leads from Dark to Light and more importantly from Ignorance to Knowledge and Gyan. The Light= is all about Love The Gyan= is about how to Love all. Yes, Bablbirji his Mahima cannot be described. Because we don't even understand on how to love all so that we may experience the Truth of PURE love which is the Divine Love felt and experienced from and within God himself. Ignorance is all from NOT loving enough. Too easily, we choose to love our self egos and close ones and will even claim that we love our parents, children, partners..etc.. so so much and more than anything ! BUT, then WHY do we still suffer and have shortcomings when all this love from the bottom of our hearts is manifest to close ones ?? Answer is- because we DON"T Love others enough ! FACT is.. that we can never love anyone too much, it's just that we don't love others enough. What’s with attributing laws and dogma to everything? Is this not dogmatic and ritualistic? Something Sikhi preaches against! Sikhi isn't about do's and don'ts. How is eating going to affect bani in the slightest? The same bani that calls out the Brahmins and priests who claimed they were pure, by doing rituals and holding certain beliefs. Of course eating is fine, prashad is given from next to the SGGS palanquin, langar is prepared and eaten while bani is read.

The readers can only decide after correct info is provided which was being hidden from them with your post. Misquoting Sant ji and Gurbani. Posting long winded post that have been ppreviously created to influence people in the wrong direction. There is no openness or willing to look at another view in your post. Thinking out of the box would mean to correctly quote Sant ji. That would be a start. Second step would be to correctly interpret Gurbani. Gurmat is not stuck in your box of devi praising or maya stages of worship you tell others to follow. Gurmat is the water that flows from the bani of the Gurus and only praises vaheguru. Your inability to understand Gurbani and appreciate Gurbani for what it is has caused you to rebel against it. You have forgotten the basic rule of Gurbani and look else where to add meaning to your ideas that are incomplete in themselves. Basis rule is that Gurbani is the truth, be content with this fact and only after this can you interpet Gurbani. You have preconceived ideas that do not agree with Gurbani and then you want to interpet Gurbani. There is no contentment on Gurbani in your post.
