  1. This is exactly why I dont follow one particular Jatha or just listen to only one singhs Katha. I’ve learnt the hard way how all this jathebandi fanboy stuff can mess up your jeevan. The young singhs aren’t to blame that much, they just want sangat of likeminded individuals and those who practice abhiyaas. It’s the olders that take advantage of the new singhs and turn them against other jathebandis because they don’t follow “their rehat”. I know because I’ve been through it. Even if someone’s level is 108, they can still make a mistake. That’s why maharaj has said only guru ji and akaal purakh are abhul. People love to suck up to one particular parcharak or sant, and then when their karam comes out in the open, people can’t handle it and turn away from sikhi or they just ignore it and says it’s all lies. It’s all because they placed this “sant” or parcharak at the same level as guru ji and gave the same love to them. This happened at the time of bhai sahib bhai randhir Singh, a “Sant” came for peshi and said he only did one bujjar kureaht, he had a very large following. The panj singhs were full naam abhyaasi, jot vigasi and so bhai sahib saw all his karam and saw that he had done all four bujjar kurehats! When the news came out all the sangat that followed him turned away from sikhi . So many singhs and singhnia left sikhi just because they placed all their trust in this sant and not the same sharda for guru sahib. Just pray to guru ji straight, no need for a middle man. Naam japo, bani parro listen to all katha with a pinch of salt as every kathavachak will have a little bias towards their school of thought. This is why we should do our own khoj.

  2. Bhenji, whilst we want to maliciously trash the reputation of any Sikh (not our intention), we should never sit idley by and turn a blind eye when things like this happen, even if it's "prominent" Gursikhs. And this is exactly why perpetrators do these things and get away with it, because they know they can. They know that, because of their status within the sangat, people will be ready to stand by them. And, because the truth is known only by a few, their voices get drowned out entirely because they are called liars etc. I absolutely ? agree that we need to go through the system (police, other organisations etc.). But sometimes the system does fail you. And in the case of sexual abuse, in an alarming percentage of cases, the system does fail the victim. And in the case of my friend, he did go through the police, the courts. The right way. But in the end, money and power set the perpetrators free. And when that happens, you lose faith in the system. You do. I genuinely fear for the people who still trust people like these perpetrators. And unfortunately, these die hard fanboys only realise when it happens in their own home, but by then it's too late...

  3. It's also very important to call these people out very publicly when something like this happens. Unfortunately, in our modern day Panjabi culture, we are very much encouraged to sweep things under the rug for the sake of "izzat". Perpetrators like this need to be very publicly named and shamed. We need to start doing this now. Our children's future depends on it.

  4. You need to face yourself and your mistakes, Learn your lesson and make sure you don’t make the same mistake again and move on with life. We pay back Karam as deserved, no one is beyond it, the Khel runs on this principle. Move on, work on yourself and do better, life is short and precious.

  5. Haha yeah she calls me kuthe di poosh ? With jense she says " eh munda puri jense aa" Or "es jense ne meri matt maarli" ? But yes I do think it's one of those punjabi curse words that is heading towards extinction lol unless they still use it in India. The punjabi grandpa who lived next door to us back in the 90s used to call me that aswell when I used to misbehave lol. "Teet" with tainka is another one lol my mum calls me that but not sure what it means though. She also says something like daddhe maa gaa ? idnno how to pronounce it lol its something like that

  6. Yeah, that's the one. It's sometimes used in conjunction with the phrase, "Kutte di poosh." ?

  7. My friend was not Amritdhari, never has been. Hence he is not in any way shape or form bound to this kind of beating. This was nothing short of thuggery. If they believe what they did was valid, then they wouldn't have to this day lied about it. I have already stated Sukhas reasons for this unwarranted act of assault, please re read my previous posts. The gyaan Sukha has is irrelevant. Ravan had so much gyaan, he wrote a steek of the Vedas (not available in publication), and yet he committed the most reprehensible things known to mankind. I must say that I'm not at all surprised by your words. Though I wonder, if your defensive view of him would be the same if he had done the same to you or a loved one. Would you still be as charitable with your "forgiveness". Somehow, I don't think so...

  8. My friend at the time (over 10 years ago, he was a teenager) was new into sangat. And of course, who better than the dynamic youth parcharak Sukha Singh, right? In fact, my friend was so influenced by him, that he tried to tie a dumalla (though he wasn't very good). Once, he tied a dumalla with a farla, took a picture and sent it to one of his friends, which then reached Sukha. Obviously we know that only Akali Nihangs wear farla, but please bear in mind, my friend was a teenager kid, very new to sangat and did not really know about this maryada. This was enough to pump up Sukhas anger and ego, and instead of talking to him like a normal person, he devised a plan with 4 other Singhs to "punish" him. Honestly, they made it out that my friend was the biggest panth dokhi after Aurangzeb and Abdali Shah. The other thing that bothered Sukha was my friend would attend the Shastar Vidiya akhara of Gurdev Nidar Singh Ji. And instead of dealing with Nidar Singh, Sukha took the cowards route and decided to punish an outnumbered, small teenager kid. The irony is, one of the boys who was in the so called "panj piyare" was a close friend of my friend, and also used to attend the akhara! Talk about betrayal... These 5 cowards committed a despicable act, outnumbered a teenager kid, who trusted them (especially Sukha), and beat him up for his "sins". And before this went to court (I don't have a court reference number to hand, but I'll see if my friend still has it (it's been 10 years lol)), they tried to bribe my friend's family, and use other threats and scare tactics to ensure this doesn't go to court. In the end however, they got off Scott free, as they were able to afford the best barristers etc. Even now, in the justice system, money talks. Each one of those 5 cowards knows what they did. They know that they followed Sukha like sheep and committed this act of betrayal. One thing my friend says to me whenever we talk about what happened is, "Bhaji, when Sukha picked my up and brought me there, they couldn't even look me in the eye and were hanging their heads!", to which I always reply "because those cowards knew what they were about to do was wrong!". For those who don't believe and think Sukha is amazing, I don't blame you one bit. Because, just like you, I used to be the same, and so was my friend. Unfortunately for him though, he learnt the hard way...

  9. This is over a decade old, but I dont think there anything wrong with that? If you need it for your health then you need it ... Some people smoke weed for depression and it works, should they stop smoking it and go back to a depressive state because it's wrong to smoke.

  10. I dont understand why this prabhdeep singh kehal is keeping a sikh appearance? I saw his interview and he is very camp and wears nail polish. Surely he would be more with himself if he was a mona. He looks like harnam kaur

  11. And of course, what I mentioned earlier with my friend. Sukha actually picked my friend up from Martindale Road Gurdwara in Hounslow, took him to one of the Singhs house, and Sukha, along with 4 other Singhs, posing as the Panj Pyare, beat him up and broke his jaw. He had to go to hospital. My friend showed me a few days later the broken jaw. My friend used to look up to and respect Sukha, which is why he went with Sukha without question. He was an absolute coward during the trial, along with his companions, who all claimed not to be baptised Sikhs (and one of them had even cut his hair by then). Even though this is the truth, I don't know how long these posts will stay up, as the moderators may remove them if Sukhas fanbase can't handle the truth. But it's okay. Because one day, regardless of whether or not these posts stay up, Sukha and the rest of his cohort will be brought to justice, one way or another...
