  1. Speaking for real, in modern times our faith is heavily-centric to Punjab and Punjabi issues. There are more talks on Punjab in Punjabi in Gurdwaras than the issues aam bande have wherever they live. If all the people in the Gurdwara are Punjabi, all the talks are in Punjabi, and we are talking about Punjab; why would average Gora or Kalla want to join? What made people like Jugraj Singh unique was that he didn't make the focus on a place far-away and focused on what the average bande living in UK actually needed, spiritual growth, also even when he did speak about Sikh issues; he always made the focus on what we can actually achieve instead of talking about goals that average Sikh likely can't achieve. If tomorrow someone wanted to learn about Jesus Christ or Muhammad, they could do so in pretty much every language with people from every ethnic group, but if tomorrow we want to learn about Guru Sahib, our only options are in Punjabi and only recently English, otherwise we just learn "Someone born in Talwandi and who traveled a lot as a good man".

  2. Stop this sh1t now. I don't want to get tempted to start looking up old tunes on youtube.

  3. What I've watched so far, I've done in smaller blocks. I think going through it in one sitting may be a bit strong.

  4. I pressed play but then stopped it. I will wait for when I have a 7 hour (or whatever) block of free time.

  5. I don't know about that. He is basically a few samosay away from Punjab police officer status. Lol I was thinking that it was the Alaap guy at the beginning of the clip. Isn't he like 70 years old? Why is he still dancing around like that?

  6. When being a Sikh was a death sentence, Baba Deep Singh Ji wrote a farsi saroop of Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and sent it to Iraq which barely had any Sikhs, now we as Punjabis, (which has a lot more Sikhs and Gurdwaras), are making controversy over legitimacy of Dasam Granth and on whether Guru Sahib was Vaheguru or not. We aren't winning, we've already lost until we go back to Sikhi.

  7. With him, it's because it allows him to rape and groom young women. Simple. He's a pimp. Roman Catholicism and Islam are very pro-pedo religions, so such people will naturally gravitate towards them Same with pedos in prison in the UK, they are accepted and protected by fellow pro-pedo sullay. You know what, you're like the resident low IQ, hysterical apnee on the forum now. I think you'd be groomed really easily in the real world - because, to be blunt, you're dumb. I've known a few Sikh guys who intimidate sullay - as someone said earlier, they don't broadcast it. Those fudhu problems we have aren't from our dharam, rather it's other lesser cultures who infest the panth and bring in their pendu baggage with them.

  9. Other societies have long standing, cultural traditions of slavery, like europeans or arab/afghan sullay, but our Sikhi thing doesn't have these antecedents, if anything, it comes (at least partially) from a strong reaction against these very types of things. I think that true spirit of Sikhi is exactly what might be motivating the people in the video to do what they are doing?

  10. Brahmgianis are known for eating one meal a day. Simple daal with either one or half roti... thas once in 24 hours! Amazing... Unfortunately for normal folks, especially who work hard or exert unusual energy for work or own choice... u may end up dying from Orthorexia. EVEN if u eat 3 meals a day, FULL STOMACH. My sister was a victim of orthorexia. I would like to touch on her lifestyle. Aged 16 onwards she read books on healthy eating. Aged 18 plus she STOPPED eating things like fry food, chocolate n biscuits. She even stopped Prashad and langar at Gurudwara. Her diet consisted of raw vegetables, baajri roti with steamed broccoli or steamed pulses (daal) ONLY or if not roti then boliled rice. Which she cooked all by herself. And fruit once a day. No drinks, hot drinks only milk (once in a while) and pure tap water. So she was a vegan (milk was almond or oat). Pre 2021 she was incredibly strong and barely got tired. 7 days she would get up at 4 or 5am, ishnaan, paat, usual breakfast of fresh nuts n seeds if not milk or fruit... HOWEVER last year it all came crashing down on her. She lost weight n had almost zero strength to lift anything. She could barely sit!!! Then this year she passed a few months back. Maybe she got egoistic? Maybe she fell in the "Too much of anything is bad for u" category? Maybe she never rested but kept herself busy with work, walk n shopping for food??? Either way her diet backfired on her. Google Orthorexia to learn more symptoms, conditions etc. It's too late for my sis but hopefully you or yer loved ones don't have to go through it.
