  1. dont really agree with circulating these type of videos. honestly appears like the white singhni is having some mental health issues phul chuk maaf karni
  2. they are dogs barking, but on a positive note we have a lot more sikhi parchar in recent years, i hope we can bring our lost punjabi brethen back to the fold. great to see people all over the world connecting to sikhi because of youtube etc
  3. truth can be a bitter pill to swallow for our elders, they are accustomed to burying things like this under the carpet. bhai mohan singh is bringing these issues out in the open and it is painful to hear how our daughters and sisters are being targeted. may vaheguru bless bhai mohan singh and his group for spreading the awareness. i dont hate muslims but their condemnation of the rapists is never as vocal and heartfelt as their condemnation for say israel or issues affecting their own 'brothers'.
  4. jesus rose from dead, moses parted the red sea, hindu epics, mohammeds miracles too. etc etc. prohets from god have always had power. no doubt in my mind that heads were severed, can you accept guru ji would play a game of deception, asking for human heads and killing farm animals instead. would that not be totally against the character and personality of our dasmesh pita. dont take me wrong, miracles and showmanship are not proof of divinity, but the words of the guru is absolute for me

  6. no worries brother, sorry if my post sounded patronising. i appreciate your motives were totally genuines. ethanols ketones esters etc are all present in fruits , the volatile compounds are what our noses smell and give the fruits their 'fruity distinctive smells'. im a chemist by the way
  7. ethanol is a 100% natural chemical found in trace amounts in apples grapes bananas etc, surely fermented alcoholic drinks which distort your mind are kurehts ? 0.01% are you serious, theres probably that amount in a single grape
  8. wjkk wjkf if anyone out there is doing a pharmacy course, or if you know someone who would be interested, would like to do pre reg training in Birmingham ( near star city ) please pm me. ideally im looking for someone to start this summer, but even if you are still not ready to start your pre reg contact me anyway. i work for an independent pharmacy and would welcome a fellow sikh to join. why am i doing this, its competitive out there for training places and i want make sure i can give a sikh brother or sister an opportunity, as i found it difficult when i did mine. wjkk wjkf
  9. bump....anyone out there know about this bachan??
  10. good question, honest answer is no - there have been times when i felt like i have made progress, but then other times when ive fallen flat on my face. this path is definitely not easy, but the rewards............
  11. off topic but man does not take amrit, the guru blesses amrit. who are you to decide?
  12. Real sikhi is hard to the ppl outside looking in, no meat sharab, personal discipline and sacrifice. the easy way is always goona be more appealing on all levels. dhan dhan those gursikh who fight the daily battle with themselves
  13. just a quick question to the more learned among the forum what are the benefits of doing mool mantar ie i mean that doing sukhmani sahib will bring peace, chaupai sahib protection , you catch my drift! dont get me wrong , i know all bani recited will be fruitful, but its just a question ive had in my mind bhul chuk maaf
  14. where do these guys get the balls to do this? and where do they find these 'chelae' - must be on the payroll. another bubble about about to burst

  16. great shame, as a viewer i found both good. 3 is better than 2
  17. that picture is absolutely rubbish, almost to the extent that i think the artist is taking the pis .surely the artist would look at their work and think would my father be happy with this depiction. as another post said the panch chor are below my fathers feet and looking at again and again is making me angry! i know its a only a picture and we dont wanna go the muslim way and ban pictures or the hindu way of doing puja/whatever. but pictures done in the right way inspire and remind us just my 2 cents worth
  18. waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh try this http://radio3.sikhnet.com/sikhnetradio-channel5.mp3.m3u
  19. thank you for your replies guys the daily battle we all face against the panj chor is for me is hugely difficult, i suppose we are lucky in a way we are aware that there is a battle, but going from a stage were you see it happening to actively trying to beat the five is equally daunting, let alone having the 5 chor at your feet.i feel somedays are good are progress is starting to be made then come bad days when everything seems to be taunting you.i pray that all of us on the same journey can help and inspire others to awake and draw strength from naam and bani. phul chuk maaf karni jeo waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru waheguru
  20. yeah. a funny thing happened there a while ago though. the pool of water that they built kept filing with algae. so the hindus asked one of their baba people what to do. the baba said find an unmarried true sadhu and get him to swim in the water, and the algae will go. the hindu lot went and found this sant dude. but problem was, he couldnt swim. so what they said was that the sadhu can hold the tail of a cow as the the cow swims in the water, and it will just take the sadhu along so he doesn sink. and the best thing happend, the cow flipped out in the water and ran off, and the hindusadhu was left splashing aroung in the algae!! many have tried to destroy it ,now they 'try' to copy it . they can make a million but theres only one original were akaal purkh himself helped build it. now all the crafty brahmins have to do is it make sure their mandir is worshipped in the teen lokh, somehow i dont think they will manage that!
  21. wjkk wjkf do any brothers and sisters have any mp3's of AMRIT VELA simran, the link on post 1 of this topic doesnt work unfortunately. if so please please please post a link bhul chuk maaf
  22. wjkk wjkf brothers and sisters i have question, it has been in my mind for some time. i know what will happen if you are a complete manmukh and try and live to fulfil your minds desires. and i know what happens if you are like sant baba thakur singh jee, bhai rama singh jee and other great great souls who were constantly in tune with the creator say u are one of the normal ppl who are not this great spiritual level, but are aware of the 5 chor and try to avoid them but sometimes get caught out. what if a person is amritdhari , keeps his rehat and does him nitnem rehraas and sohila daily. works 40hrs a week ,raises a family and visits the gurdwara with sharada and piaar 2-3 times a week, but doesnt drink smoke eat meat and remains faithful to their spouse and lives life as honestly as posible, but never reaches the spiritual heights. what happens to this person? do they come back as humans? as sikhs, or have they too missed the chance of this life and end up in charasi lakh joon please brothers and sisters enlighten this fool phul chuk maaf
