Hope you enjoy. http://sehajvirsingh.blogspot.com/ It loads super slow so the best thing to do is pause it until it is fully loaded. 3. INSPIRING!!! SIMPLY INSPIRING. I'm so happy the older generations are setting such an inspiring example for our youth. AMAZING
  4. "Even those who have never met these three souls are feeling the ache of separation and the void their loss leaves on this world. The Guru's Will is often hard to fathom, its hard to accept. However, we must remember he alone is called a Gursikh who walks in the will of the Lord." "The loss of these Singhs has been a sad loss to us.. but i belvie their sacrifices have not gone in vein as i belives some sikh youths have been woken up by the events that took place and really has really shook their orginal belifs on how they live their lives. Lots of people have started to now learn more about Sikhi and others have been now blessed with the thirst for Amrit " I agree whole heartedly with these statements. I live in Canada and I have been profoundly affected by this incident. Their jeevans have inspired me to focus on what i so deeply believe in. The ekta of the panth. The brotherhood of these young khalsa soldiers has made me realize how precious unity is. It also has helped me realize that saying your a sikh is one thing, but living by the tennats our gurus have laid before us is quite another. They are always in my prayers. And I have an immense love for them. I am saddened, not because they have died, because i know in my heart they are with our guru and they are happy. But I am saddened because the panth needed youth like this. Everyday i think about them and it is inspiring me to step up my sikhi. I pray their families find peace in this tough time. WAHEGURU WAHEGURU WAHEGURU

  6. did you say fliping indus or fliping hindus? I HOPE YOU DIDN'T SAY FLIPIN HINDUS!! cause its wrong to blame a whole religion for some fanaticals ppls mistakes.
  7. I understand where 4RR is coming from. I feel you 4RR. However that pic put a smile on my face. Just because these sikhs are representing the U.N i believe (not to sure). And they are doing something so noble its heart-warming. Its beautiful to see sikhs actually living sikhi. Really living it. Not just sitting around and claiming to be sikhs. They are trying to keep the peace trying to be protectors of people. That is true sikhi. I believe if they have those words up there and that motivates them then why not. I think they are aware of whats going to cause hatred and tension. I mean they are the ones in the war zone not us. I believe its just a tactic to keep them motivated and to remind them that only those true singhs of the gurus are truly kings in this world and the next. So i see nothing wrong with it. I hope one day i can meet such gursikhs who are living sikhi by doing humanitarian missions around the world. And I hope i can put there charan dhoor on my forehead.

  9. WOW I'm shocked. My fellow calgary gatka partner won yudh. Amazing. I do gatka once in a while with harbir singh. Hes really good. And i heard Harman singh from calgary also won youth division. Another person i play with. Good to see the calgary sangat representing. God's grace
  10. Just wondering who won the yudh, who placed 1st secend and third. Please let me know
  11. I think that people who would fake this need to be punished accordingly as well. People commit these acts need to be punished but people who fake getting there hair cut by others need to be punished even more
  12. Much respect to R4G members. We are forever in your debt
  13. Couldn't have put it better myself. And I agree with harkaurwarriorz.... Also other then bringing khalistan in your heart. The best physical place for sikhs to live in my opinion is .................................... ........................................................... CANADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA......................... Yeah ilove my home land. India would be amazing place for sikhs to live if we didn't have rule of maha paapis like badal there. Also i've been there recently and the regular "punjabis" are so far from sikhi its sad. My own family thought i was crazy cause i wore bana everywhere in india. Trust me if you want to nurture sikhi then you can't be living in a place that is promoting watered down sikhi. I'm saying india is all good if you have that chardi kalla sangat. But its hard to find..Its there though but you gotta be careful not fall into the wrong sangat. Alot of people are con-artist in india. We don't have to worry to much about that abroad cause people don'thave much to gain from pretending to be sikhs. However in india if you wanna make a lot of money u just pretend your a sant baba and bang you loaded. And raju maan you make me laugh. You talked about that sikh getting his kesh cut as if it wasn't a big deal. I think you need to get your priorities STRAIGHT.
  14. I agree with the above three posts. "I don't see any cause at a mela big enough for us to compromise Guru Ji's respect." I one hundred percent agree. If people aren't there to give their respect to sikhi then we don't need to take our maharaj there. As for the sikhs becoming a bunch of piddu's. I do agree to an extent but I like to focus on those who are making a difference. However it is sad to see that your statement is true.
  15. Being an unbiased reader of this topic, because i'm from canada and i don't really know whats going on with the u.k youth politics. I have to say i'm pretty shocked at how piddu (lol at the name, its hard being serious when i'm using that name) just jumped down the throat of sharan kaur, who it seemed to me was just pointing something out and not really attacking anyone. I don't know maybe i'm wrong but I think she had a good point. I to believe guru ji's respect comeS first and foremost and it needs to be respected at all cost in any situation. I think thats all sharan kaur was pointing out. I don't see the need to start throwing blind accusations out at her, because she did not disrespect anyone. Anyways thats just my two cents. Don't take offence piddu bro, i'm just stating what my opinion is.
  16. Wonderful Amazing Holy Euphoric Great Undying Refreshing Unified
  17. I personally don't think there is any need to get our kashera's in a twist over this. I think we have bigger issues to overcome. I don't think any insult was intended to sikhs.
  18. No problem illi Bro, Stay True
  19. Yeah i saw it as well. I was shocked. Luckily for us they didn't interview him or keep him on camera two long. But still I mean don't we have enough to deal with, with all this osama bin laden crap. We have to now fight off these stereotypes. Jai Tegang, yes he is human and he may have a sickness of wanting to sleep with 12 year olds. Which in itself we can all see whats wrong with that, but ontop of that he is wearing guru ji's saroop. I mean cut your hair shave do something. We don't realize that we are embassadors for every other dari kesh wearing person out there. Everything we do reflects either positivly or negativly on every single other sikh. If you watched the sikhs on the street video it shows how much we lack in getting our positive image across. I mean there are less jews then sikhs yet everyone knows about their faith. We really need to do some damage control for all this osama and other bad press we have been facing. Oh and illi he was not a gursikh, u can tell that by his actions.
  20. What kind of funding do you guys need? How much money?
  21. No one denies that Gurbani is "eternal, with Paras kala, perfect". However, I disagree with you where you say "nothing else is required". Blessed are those Gurmukhs that receive Aatmik Brahm Gyaan on hearing, listening and understanding the message of Gurbani by itself. However, this will happen to a very few souls. Most people, to understand the message of Gurbani, will require Katha to understand Gurbani and history, Dhadhi Vaars to understand Sikh history, and lo-and-behold, some people may be inspired and understand the message of Gurbani through a Dhaarna. No-one is saying Shabad is not Guroo, and no-one is changing Gurbani: all 1430 Angs of Gurbani are eternal and no-one can change them. However, Dhaarnas are NOT Bani and NO-ONE has ever claimed that they are GurBani!!! On the one hand, you say that the soul has a direct link with Waheguroo and is joined with Waheguroo through Gurbani only. But on the other hand, you say the role of a parchaarak is, through katha, keertan, history, etc, to join the soul to Gurbani. It seems that you are saying another medium may be needed. For me, Dhaarna is just another medium of Parchaar to connect the individual to Gurbani, just like katha, keertan, dhadhi vaars, kavishri, etc. As I said, this Dhaarna (not Kachi Bani) may be needed for some persons, where other means of Parchaar fail. Again I object to your use "Kachi Bani", because it is not Bani - then how can it be Kachi? Like Katha and Keertan, Dhaarna is another means of Parchaar. The Sakhi of Ram Rai can be distinguished from Dhaarnas on the basis that Ram Rai deliberately and intentionally changed the words of Gurbani to favour himself before the Mughal Emperor, and he passed the change off as being genuine Gurbani. Dhaarnas is a means towards attaching oneself to Gurbani. No-one is saying attach to the Dhaarna, but any Parchaarak that uses Dhaarna as a means of Parchaar should always say to attach to Gurbani. The context within which Dhaarnas are used are wholly different from the intents and purposes of Ram Rai. Gurbani can be beautiful and straightforward. I agree completely with this statement. But on the other hand, it is also very complicated, and as Namstang Jee has pointed out, it is very deep and meaningful. It is multi-faceted in its layers of comprehension. But this beauty and simplicity is not recognised by everyone. If this was the case, the whole would be following the Gurmat Marag, but for the person that has never done Paath, or has no interest in Gurmat, Bani does not have the same effect that sometimes a Dhaarna will. I cannot explain why this is the case, but it is a fact. For example, one only has to see the effect of Parchaar which was done by Sant Attar Singh Jee, Sant Isher Singh Jee, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee, and lately, Ranjit Singh Jee Dhaddrian Wale. I agree that we all need to join with Gurbani, as it is indeed food for the soul. But for some, this is unfortunately possible. They are inspired to join to Gurbani through Dhaarnas, just like others are inspired by Katha, Keertan, Dhadhi Vaars, Kavishri, etc. So sometimes another medium may be necessary. Personally, I prefer listening to Gurbani Keertan most of the time. But I have listened to Diwans of Sant Isher Singh Jee and Ranjit Singh Jee Dhaddrian Wale, and I have gained a great deal of inspiration from them. Further, I will not condemn others for listening to Dhaarna. I'd prefer that people join with SatGuroo Siri Guroo Granth Sahib Jee, no matter how they join, whether it be through Dhaarnas, Katha, Keertan, Dhadis, etc, etc. Indeed, there are people living in my area who were alcoholics and drug-takers who changed their ways after listening to the Diwans of Sant Isher Singh Jee. Now they do contemplate Gurbani a lot, are Akhand-Paathees, Rehitvaan and an inspiration for me. Bhul Chuk Maaf Waheguroo 138969[/snapback] TOTALLY AGREE. I was going to take time out to pick apart each of the "kachi bani" statements but its not worth it. I'm glad you did it. I've tried to explain in very long posts the facts about this issue but no one listens. Its like they skip over my posts completely. No one answered the question about singing dhan guru nanak before kirtan. And then ppl are saying "If all paracharaks do katha and keertan of Gurbani, then there is no need to kathachie bani. Bani is not that hard to understand that you need to create a new composition, because you will find, many people will just connect to them compositions and not move on the next level. Plus where does this leave the Sakhi of Ram Rai?" I asked you all to explain to me how it has taken me away from bani. No one can do it. Sakhi of Ram Rai? So this person is comparing the great sants of the past to ram rai. Am i correct in assuming this. You lot are comparing sant baba isher singh ji and other great mahan Gurmukhs to ram rai. Gurmukhs that have been considered by the entire panth as great sikhs. And you are tryign to compare them to ram rai to get your point across. Bro that is sad. Look at the fact. You guys don't have any legs to stand on. None of these sants have called their tarnas bani, not even close. So explain to me how its different from parchaar. What is the difference between someone coming on stage and saying, sir javey to javey mera sikhi sidak na javay an singing it. I agree that people need stop following sant baba's. However this doesn't mean we spread anit-sant, anti-dharna propaganda without any real basis.
  22. SSM you may be right. Sorry bro if i confused it. I will always admit my mistakes. Plz forgive
  23. Sabre sword, bro you gotta re-read my post. I meant that i found it disgusting that a gori wanted to date me. I think the idea of dating isn't right. cause i try to think of everyone as a sister. Thats why it was disgusting. U understand
  24. "Is it simply a process of natural selection, the weak being weeded out and only the strong remain? Any thoughts? " I take offense to this statement. I know u probably meant it as a non-offensive statement. But still, are you implying that gursikhs with their beautiful dara's flowing are weak. I love my dara. I love it too much. I even think i have hankar over my dara..lol... I look at others who shave and i think they really look like sheep. I'm not saying this in an egotistical way. I just see man's natural form as beautiful. And i feel bad for ppl who are so caught up in society that they are doing the opposite of what god wanted. Obviously God wanted us to have kesh otherwise we wouldn't have any. Anyways back to the topic. What kind of bibi do u want to marry. One that is superficial. That doesnt' love u for u. That loves u for how u look? Thats so sad. I have had offers from goriya that wanna date me. I'm not saying this cause i'm proud. i find it disgusting. However it is proof to ppl like you that looks mean nothing. Someone with strong character is most attractive. If you are proud of yourself and your sikhi and of your roop. Then that will show. However if you are insecure about it then u gonna come off as that. And no one is attracted to that. Plus if you seriously start caring about guru ji and not what girls want, girls get sent ur way as a test from guru ji. Realize what u are disrespecting bro. U wanna disrespect ur kesh, the same kesh that have been protected at all cost through out history. The same kesh that gursikhs have died protecting. The gift that guru ji has given us, u wanna throw away cause u want some "shallow" mate to notice u. U think taht will get u love. I got news for u mate, there is only true love. And thats AKAAL. Stop worrying about these females and focus on ur sikhi. Have some faith in guru ji he will find u the right mate. Forgive me if said anythign wrong.
  25. My personal experience. Never ever ever ever follow anyone except guru granth sahib ji. Having said that there is nothing wrong in my opinion to listening to and getting knowledge from babas singing dharna. You know what i'm sick of. People making sikhi into this cookie cutter faith that everyone has to fit into. Why should we do it this way. Not everyone is at the same level. How can people tell me that dharna's are wrong. Have you lived my life, do u know what i have been through. Look at my personal example when i was in high school. I never had any sikhi sangat around me. Sure my parents did paath and what not, but they never really taught me much about it. I never listened to kirtan. WHY?? Cause i never understood it. So one day i'm looking through old videos, i find one that says sant baba _____ singh ji. Never heard of sants before thought i'd check it out. Pop it in and woah this "evil" sant is talking in punjabi that i understand. And hes singing some lines that are giving me josh, Wow these lines are actually making me proud to be a sikh. I kinda realize why i keep my kesh. So i watch these videos as much as i can for about a year. I get excited when i watch them i get goosebumps cause i understand sikhi finally. I remember i wanted to cut my hair so badly because u know i wanted a girl friend. And then i'm watching this "evil" sant who is singing "kachi bani" which is "evil". And this sant is talking about the story of i believe akali phula singh. About how the muslim ruler was at his wits end trying to kill the sikhs. He said we keep on attacking and attacking these sikhs don't give up. What should we do. His advisor being very smart said. " we should topple their character, because without asool they are nothing." So they decided to seduce the general of the sikhs, they sent their most beautiful rani to seduce akali phula singh. She came into the tent and asked " i need a son like you" meaning she wanted to sleep with him. What did akaali phoola singh do he said "Fine, from this day on you are my mother i am ur son." She went back and told the king these sikhs will never be defeated because they are men of faith and character. WOW. I thought. WOW as i heard the singing of "evil kachi bani" Sir javey to javey meri sikhi sidhak na jaavey". I had such a josh in me, i had goosebumps. I felt ashamed how can i cut my hair when they were great mahan gursikhs out there who had such high character. If the gursikhs were that great how great were the Guru's. I honestly never wanted to cut my hair after that. And then my journey started towards sikhi. I had so much love and pride in sikhi because of these videos. So how are you gonna tell me that its evil? Seriously explain to ME. From my PERSONAL experience how this practice has brought me away from sikhi. You guys are so high on your horses with your this is anti- gurmat this isn't. How about the people who have never had any introduction to sikhi, who have no sangat. Who listen to these dharna's and get josh to read more about sikhi to do paath. Who stop listenign to dharna's and just go straight for gurbani. Like i have done. I get most of my russ from only gurbani now. However once in a while i will listen to sants. Have dharna's hurt me. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW they have. You guys are the ones who coined the phrase kachi bani. Real sants would never even disrespect bani by putting the word kachi infront of it. That in my eyes is the real paap. You lot are disrespecting the word bani for your own agendas. Which sant has called their dharna bani. Baba ranjit even says to call his dharna's kachi bani is a paap, cause their dharnas are no where close to bani. When i speak about sikhi am i using kachi bani? When Akj sing dhan guru nanak is this not "kachi bani". I don't understand you lot. You gotta problem with fake babay's. Then direct your anger towards them. Not the whole lot. Especially ppl like sant baba isher singh ji, sant baba nand singh ji, sant jarnail singh ji khalsa. Have you lived even one percent of their jeevans. SERIOUSLY don't give me your "views" on why you think its evil. Explain to me in MY SITUATION how these dharnas have hurt me, then i will agree with u. Your views on "kachi bani" don't make sense to me cause in my personal experience they have helped me. I think people need to live in the hukam of guru maharaj, live the rehit that the khalsa is supposed to live. Don't ever stray from it. And as for the rest of it, if you do ur amrit vela and naam abiyaas you will know what is right or wrong in ur heart. And you will know who is speaking out of ego and who is speaking out of love. In my opinion only follow the guru not some baba, Never give up ur amritvela, seva, simran and sangat. if someone is putting u towards guru ji then listen, if they speaking against, then mash up..lol.. as a last resort of course. As for these kachay pakkay ppl let em bicker with each other. Just watch the tamasha and enjoy god's play. Never give up ur amritvela, seva, simran and sangat. Please forgive me if i have mispoken.
