Norwood Green Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha has issued a damning condemnation of what it describes as "alcohol fuelled violence and public urination" witnessed on Sunday afternoon (May 1) at Southall Park where the music, arts and cultural fair The Famous Punjabi Mela was being held. Videos circulating online show hundreds of people crowding outside the fenced off event, which charged £10 for entry. The videos then go on to show men climbing over the fence and women can be heard screaming before those manning the gates were forced to let the crowd pour in. Parents with pushchairs and young children were among those pouring into the event being held in Norwood Green which is a traditional Indian celebration. In a statement Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara said: "We are shocked by the scenes in Norwood Green this evening. Alcohol fuelled violence, public urinating, smoking on Gurdwara owned property. The event was not organised by the Gurdwara. It was held on fields owned by Ealing Council."

In Turkey, the likes of #PakistaniGetOut and #PakistaniPerverts are trending on Twitter for disturbing reasons. May 1, 2022 By DHIREN MANGA "Parasites for whichever society they dwell into." Disturbing matters have come to light in Turkey and it has resulted in #PakistaniPerverts and #PakistaniGetOut trending on Twitter in the country. The hashtags have attracted a lot of attention after a chilling TikTok trend emerged. The videos show Pakistani men living in Turkey secretly filming young women as they go about their daily business. In some cases, the perpetrators follow the unsuspecting women. The videos are created by individuals or groups and many of the clips show the perpetrators. One prominent video shows a woman being followed, with the camera frequently zooming in on her trousers. Another shows an individual covertly filming several women as they waited for a train. Some videos that have circulated even show men filming children, with one individual posing for the camera as he secretly films a group of boys at the beach. It is believed that dozens of similar videos, in which Pakistani men are secretly filming Turkish women, have been shared on TikTok. Others are resharing the voyeuristic video clips. The videos have caused outrage on social media, with many condemning the men’s actions. One person said: Another wrote: “Parasites for whichever society they dwell into.” The emergence of this disturbing trend has led to Turkish nationals calling for Pakistanis to be kicked out of the country.

  9. https://www.desiblitz.com/content/gang-blackmailed-married-men-after-having-sex-with-them Slightly different to the usual stories ..... Gang Blackmailed Married Men after having Sex with Them A gang had sex with two married men before blackmailing them with explicit footage of their sexual encounters. April 28, 2022 By DHIREN MANGA Ilyas covertly set up a hidden camera Ablackmail gang has been jailed for attempting to extort tens of thousands of pounds from two married men after having sex with them. The victims were a man from Manchester and another from Burnley, both of whom were married to women. Sarah Haque, prosecuting, said the Manchester-based victim was a married father and came from “an ethnic community where homosexuality is not permitted”. He worked until the early hours of the morning and had used male escort websites named ‘Sleepy Boy’ and ‘Manchester Lads’ to arrange secret liaisons. In October 2020, he arranged to meet with Kamar Ilyas who was on one of the websites under the name Daniele Khan. Aman Khan had booked a room at the Britannia Hotel for them.... He convinced the victim to meet up with him again by gifting him flowers and chocolates. At a hotel, Ilyas covertly set up a hidden camera and ensured that he and the victim were photographed arriving together by Khan, who was parked nearby. The pair had sex again, with Ilyas encouraging the victim to speak about why he was nervous about meeting up. They left around 1:15 am and the victim returned to work. Ms Haque said: “The victim sent a message saying ‘thank you and safe travels’, a reference referred to Ilyas saying he was travelling to Oxford and saying he was a nurse who worked there.” An hour later, a response read: “No. Thank you, you dirty old married man. You’re gonna regret this.” This was followed by a video of the two having sex and a warning that the encounter had been recorded and would be posted on social media and sent to his wife. The victim was ordered to pay £25,000 but he said that it was not possible. He was then bombarded with calls and messages from various numbers. Calls were also made to his wife and his business. More videos were also sent to him as proof that more of the encounter had been secretly recorded. Khan also sent a photo of the victim’s car outside his workplace. The man called the police and they pursued the VW Golf being driven by Khan but he got away. Whilst giving a police statement, the victim received a call from Ilyas. In a partially recorded conversation, Ilyas claimed he had been pressured into being involved in the plot and was scared himself. He agreed to attend a police station and give his own statement but never did. But the hotel booking linked back to Khan and police visited his home. When interviewed, Khan admitted booking the room but claimed to have no knowledge of a blackmail plot. .....

The owner of Singh News Market in Lye High Street has been ordered to pay £27,000 after environmental health officers found meat and dairy products being sold past their use-by dates. The oldest item was still on sale almost a month after its use-by date, magistrates heard. Dudley Council said it hoped the "hefty financial penalty" would deter other offenders. Naginder Singh, of Hurcott Road, in Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to 10 offences of selling unsafe food at Dudley Magistrates' Court on 6 April. During the inspection in March 2021, a basket of 25 products, including cooked ham, Dairylea Lunchables and yogurt, was found near the counter of the mini-market during the visit The earliest use-by date in the haul was 8 February - on display 28 days after the date had expired, the court was told. Kidderminster-based Newsmarket (Midlands) Ltd, which runs the store, has also been ordered to pay court costs of £1,982.70 and a victim surcharge of £1,800. Kevin O'Keefe, chief executive of Dudley Council said: "I welcome the verdict of the magistrates in this case and the hefty financial penalty handed out for these offences. "It is important that we take action to help keep our residents safe, and it will also act hopefully as a deterrent to other businesses in the borough thinking of doing the same."
  13. I think it’s just opportunism It could be a whole range of wrong uns involved, I wouldn’t discount involvement of cab drivers in any such network . Also, I have no idea what the ‘screening process’ for hosts involves, and who chooses the host and refugee being paired up. It’s strange also, as I don’t remember in the past when refugees have come from other countries to the UK that such a big ‘effort’ was made to place them with host houses. Maybe I’m wrong https://uk.yahoo.com/news/stop-matching-lone-female-ukraine-074707726.html Stop matching lone female Ukraine refugees with single men, UK told Rajeev Syal Home affairs editor Wed, 13 April 2022, 8:47 am The UN refugee agency has called on the UK government to intervene to stop single British men from being matched up with lone Ukrainian women seeking refuge from war because of fears of sexual exploitation. Following claims that predatory men are using the Homes for Ukraine scheme to target the vulnerable, the United Nations high commissioner for refugees (UNHCR) told the Guardian “a more appropriate matching process” could be put in place to ensure women and women with children are matched with families or couples. The suggestion from the global refugee agency follows reports that Ukrainian refugees, predominantly women and sometimes accompanied by children, are at risk in the UK of sexual exploitation.

  15. Crispin Blunt apologises for defending sex offender MP Imran Ahmad Khan Published 4 hours ago Share IMAGE SOURCE,GETTY IMAGES Conservative MP Crispin Blunt has apologised for a statement defending fellow MP Imran Ahmad Khan, who was convicted of sexual assault. Wakefield MP Khan was found guilty on Monday of assaulting a 15-year-old boy in 2008. Mr Blunt had called the verdict a "dreadful miscarriage of justice" in a statement on his website.... He has also resigned as chair of a cross-party committee of MPs that campaigns for LGBT+ rights around the world, after several members of it quit in protest at his statement. The official Conservative Party LGBT+ group has suspended him, pending an investigation and a membership vote. In a statement, the group said: "We are supportive of our judiciary and trial by jury, including the right to appeal, but present circumstances are that an MP has been found guilty of a grotesquely inappropriate sexual assault on a child. .... Khan was thrown out of the Conservative Party after Southwark Crown Court delivered its verdict on Monday but he has said he will appeal against his conviction. Mr Blunt, a friend of Khan who attended some of his trial, said in his now-deleted statement that he was "appalled and distraught" by the verdict, calling it "an international scandal, with dreadful wider implications for millions of LGBT+ Muslims around the world". He claimed that the case against Khan had "relied on lazy tropes about LGBT+ people that we might have thought we had put behind us decades ago". "I hope for the return of Imran Ahmad Khan to the public service that has exemplified his life to date," he added. He did not explain in any detail why he believed Khan's conviction had been a miscarriage of justice.
