Damn I didn't know they got rich from selling heroing. I thought it was because they got these startup loans from the government to open businesses. So what do we do about this?

Why do some 'Sikhs' celebrate Christmas
ipledgeblue replied to Harditsingh's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Funnily enough, I recently saw a hukumnama from Guru Gobind Singh calling it Diwali -

ipledgeblue replied to a topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
to be honest, our community should start looking for potential partners for their children, when the children are studying undergrad. Although, to be honest, many children will already have started doing something which is anti-grihast before they even reach uni. It would be more optimal if the community started looking in the teens for a potential early 20s marriage. In the villages, I hear the youngsters were married off early but they couldn't meet their partner until they reached their late teens, where the wife was brought over to her husband's house as a muklawa. So it was like finding a potential partner early except the marriage ritual/ceremony such as laavan / Anand Karaj was already done beforehand! And when you're in your teens or early 20s you can grow with you partner, instead of becoming fussy with demands which is what happens when you grow too old looking for a partner!- 105 replies

yes, but even being unmarried in late 20s makes for vikaari people, nevermind 30s. 30s some people go really downhill- 105 replies

I had a similar jatt complex to this guy's Rajput complex when I was younger. I used to think "lower"castes do dating and have ex partners and their women drink and show their latta etc And now I see that every background has these, even the muslmaans. The only solution is to follow grihast jeevan like our ancestors and Guru jis, and not to wait until your late 20s!- 105 replies

It wasn't nanaksar, it's a less sampradaic and more extreme jathebandi. I have read somewhere online quite recently that the founder of the unmentioned jathebandi may have forged it. I agree, and I don't even think sehajdhari sikhs should eat kutha (halal). But it's the constant bashing of non-veggie sikhs which hasn't allowed rehit of jhatka and shikkar to flourish. It's such a shame that even in Punjab it's not practised enough. During pre-partition times, Singhs were too scared to do jhatka openly because of islamic extremism in Punjab, but at least they did still the jhatka indoors behind closed doors. In those times, the veggie jathebandis hadn't influenced as many sikhs in going against rehit. Now what is happening is just a shame, khulla and kutha maas being eaten everywhere. And wedding parties have just gotten out of control - just a waste of time and money! -

that hukamnama is associated with a veggie jathebandi. Look at the other hukumnamas from Guru sahibs. Guru Gobind Singh's hukamnama to hunt and jhatka. There was one sent to Kabuli sikhs. -
Is Guru Sahib wearing topi and earring in this old painting
ipledgeblue replied to shastarSingh's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
the dumalla was much smaller in times of Guru Gobind Singh, it may be mistaken for a hat in these days! -

the same shanka was shown by sikhs towards Guru Hargobind Sahib jee when they started wearing dumalla, carrying shastar, hunting shikaar and being surrounded by warriors. sikhs went to complain to Baba Budha jee and Bhai Gurdas jee. Also a parallel gurgaddi was started to try and imitate the first 5 Guru Sahibs and oppose Guru Hargobind ji warrior lifestyle. I'm seeing the same shanka now. Especially towards really rehitee Singhs such as Budha Dal, Tarna Dal, Hajoor Sahib and Patna Sahib. Most Singhs that keep the vegeterianism do not follow rehit in any full form, especially towards the warrior/kshatriya style and also fall flat of preserving Guru Gobind Singh bani, many cannot even read Chaupai Sahib properly! If the veggie Singhs followed rehit sangat could take them seriously, unfortunately they do not especially as they are led by jathebandis and sant babas that have no interest in following rehit fully like the 2 takhts and the Dals do preserve rehit! Do not use your vegeterianism as an excuse to not follow rehit and wear bana and actually follow all 10 Gurus, but this is what has been happening since last century! -

lol it's funny admin didn't try and close this thread, but just held both hands together. bani is not against meat and even makes the argument foolish. Also to badmouth Nihang Singhs of Budha Dal And Tarna Dal, when the Guru jis also hunted from Guru Hargobind jee jis was regular practise. Read all the rehitnamas and Gurbani before making manmatti claims of what a sikh can and cannot eat! -
AKJ Peshi: Black face and public confession?
ipledgeblue replied to 1Anonymous1's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
do they do peshi at Rehnsbais? as well as blackening the face, the hair also used to be shaved off in olden days. But I guess there's too many moneh these days for the punishment to cause any guilt anymore. And don't forget those with girlfriends/boyfriends, the punishment applied to those as well as adulterers and fornicators. Think Heer-Ranja types etc. -
then you don't need to ask the question. you're doing this in the privacy of your own home ? we aren't total prudes. ?
-
yes it is important even now and tomorrow. Terrorists and extremists don't stop on Gurpurb. Do you think the Khalsa took a break during war when a Gurpurb occured?
-
how pakka are you in your rehit, how regularly do you practise shastar?

Got told off for calling Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Nanak
ipledgeblue replied to Redoptics's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Guru Gobind Singh is still 10th Nanak! -
which religions have just one prophet? Jews have many prophets, which are also shared by Christians and Muslims!

unfortunately a lot of sects, deras and jathebanddis ( and also some of the admins on this forum!) are "harsh" towards those sikhs who eat meat!

Millions of men sterilized in India in the 70s
ipledgeblue replied to puzzled's topic in POLITICS | LIFESTYLE
you will get more dodgy girls with ex partners and alcohol habits if you try to marry with cut beard or haircut, no joke! It removes a lot of the wrong girls if you go into rishta as sabat soorat. -
