    I notice for most Indian Sikhs, they tend to just view historical gurdwaras as a tourist hotspot rather than an actual place to pray, I’ve seen enough videos where people are dancing at Harmandir Sahib.

    I think that’s because monogamy mostly benefits men. If women had the choice to be a 2nd, or 3rd wife of a financially successful person who fit, spiritual, and spiritually high, they’d choose that over being the first wife of a Punjabi drunk. As for men, they wouldn’t even think about being a nice 2nd or 3rd husband under any circumstance, (unless they one of those open relationship banda, in which case they just weird).

    If you are genuine, I’m going to say that you should be extremely cautious of what people say online especially if you’ve never seen someone irl, they can say the perfect words but act completely different, with wrong intentions. A man who’s high value should never be obsessed with a woman even his own wife.

    When SGPC acknowledges Jagtar Singh Hawara, then they can have some respect, until that happens, they should be seen as gaddar for saying their committee is higher than Punj Pyare.

    I think Sikhs should be Bibeki about meat, usually eating meat from who knows what is more negative than not eating anything at all.

    It is true that Guru Sahib can liberate animals by killing them, but Guru Sahib isn’t bound to just liberating animals by killing them.
