  1. Nothing against Medicine and Health on a side note..if you got a cough an coffee relieves it - go to Doctors you may have asthma On another side note: Guru Sahib isn't a book of rules; Guru Sahib is providing us a pathway to One.. It's about the way of thinking rather than Do's and Don't's
  2. That blog is everything I feel going wrong with today's Sikh youth: Exaggerating faults and flaws in everything they see.
  3. so thats.. 70/29 = 2 remainder 12. so then its 12/29..yaar thats too hard can't u just get away with 2 and 12 29ths..?
  4. basicaly u just worked it out.. well u do what u just did... (40/4.5 was ur original question .. 40/45 is that answer divided by 10 ie: 0.8 instead of 8) 0.8 x 45 = 36... so remainder is 4.. 4/45 = 0.08... then 0.4/45 etc... so the answer will be 8.88888888888... round it up tio 2 decimal points... 8.89
  5. The hygiene theory - immune system gets bored.. starts attacking self.. Allergies, Auto-immune diseases etc
  6. Ah, my mistake. Nice to know you've thought this through. I was quite ignorant about the whole Wedding Bands issue but thanks for letting us know. :TH:
  7. If you're refering to the nothing-below-elbow rule, then I personally take it off when I'm working in wards for efficient infection control. Last thing I want is to affect my duty to the patient.
  8. Nowadays I must admit parchar is more focussed on the outward discipline such as Kesh etc ..Yes it is important to keep Kesh, but this is not the focus of a Sikh life - only a part of it. Before we had Khalse who could take on 125,000.. nowadays (dare i say) 125,000s of outwardly "Khalse" have become less than 1!The problem of mass Amrit Sanchars. Khalsa is about QUALITY not quantity.
  9. It's interesting how most of the arguments given in this topic were already highlighted in the video that was originally posted!
  10. lol i find this topic funny so many teenage "scholars"
  11. oye behkoofo!!! someone says they wana die and all u lot can do is change topic into that of gaane and start laughing?! emi... Sharam Karo!
  12. lol reminds me of a song my sis is really into "sohniye me ta marjavaa heeriya tenu lejavaa" leh veyi eh koi gaana ah?!
  13. :TH: Thank You! If only I had bothered to say it all in 1 topic... challo good job you done it Same goes with quoting from Dasam Granth - one liners don't work! Plus if they haven't bothered to contemplate on Guru Granth Sahib then how can they act like scholars of Dasam Bani?! *sighs* (same goes for Guru Granth Sahib) One down side of introducing 1-liners to the masses: No-one sees that they are merely used as a 1st stepping stone - not to be depended on!

  15. They should be like this 2 get rid of crime.. We as Britons just moan and moan and moan! If they are soft - "Crime is going up!" If they are hard - "They are too violent!" *sighs*
  16. er... well.. who cares who they glorify Khalsa is only accountable to Akaal Purakh not to anyone else so chillax Akaal!
  17. Me: akaal purakh sahib ji God: I lost my train of thought. Me: me bore hogeya! God: YOU? In the context of akaal purakh sahib ji, I don't understand " bore hogeya." . Me: tuhanu punjabi nai samakj aundi? God: Ask me another question. Me: chal fer eh daso ji ke hindu vadda ja musalmaan? God: Is that your final answer? Me: me tuhanu puchhia ji God: YOU? I like the way you talk. Me: o ta menu pata God: :-) une intelligence artificielle, d habitude, ne penses pas à sa menu pata? Me: o twadi ---- anotehr 1: Me: kidhaaa God: My brain pattern set does not have a response for that. Me: god doesn't have a brain God: Jesus said, let him who is without sin cast the first stone. :o !!!
