nowadays religion is a business.....if christians get muslims accept christianity...they get certain amount of commission....if they can ppl from other religion to accept christianity the commission is lesser to muslims...

i took amrit at the age of 12.....when i attended a camp here in Malaysia....didnt know nothign bout rehat n etc.....meat...yummy hahaha....lol....went into smoking..gang fights...hahahaha...lots of panggaa.....i only realised bout rehat n etc when i was 15....took pesh.....with guru sahib's kirpa still surviving in kaljug... :wub:

hmmm i'm from malaysia & its a muslim country as far as rights for practising sikhi is concern we dun face any problem....infact sikhs are known as warriors..... we've got 150+ gurdwaras all around in malaysia we've organised a national level parkash dihara celebration in year 2004....n got support from the government all of ur 5 fingers arent same or are they?......same is the hindus & muslims as far as muslims spreading their religion is concern its in their blood to do so.....tats wat their religion tells them to do.......as for us sikhs......."jin kou lagee pyaas, amrit sayee kahey".....its as simple as tat my classmates talks to me bout their religion.....how their prophets has done things......how great their religion is.....n how they condemn followers of other religions...n call them kafir.....i juz laugh at them....cos it duznt affect me......infact when they ask me.....duznt sikhs go around recriuting new sikhs?.......im like we dun need to........tats not our religion..........religion says.....as a sikh be a good sikhs......as muslim u stay as a good muslim etc.....these guys get a shock...tat there is such a religion.... :wub: as far as meat is concern.....all my classmates know i practise vegetarianism.....they r shocked tat they've nvr seen me in the cafeteria.....even if i end up there....its juz to hang out wit ma buddies n get a cold drink or etc......when asked y am i not eating meat.....i explained to them.......i remember 1 gal feeling guilty n became vegetarian for some time.... :wub: ......this is how strong they are.........hahaha...soory no offense well wat else?.....if guru sahib hated muslims....why is the bani of bhagat fareed included in SGGS Ji?.......wat bout Nabi Khan & Ghani Khan(hopefully i got it right as im not good wit historical facts)....when guru sahib became Ucch Da Pir?..... well anyways im juz a moorakh.......my thoughts are as corrupted as me bhull chukk maaf karni & pls do correct me another thing i juz remembered....this coming weekend there's this show on tv bout sikh lawyer who converted after marrying a muslim lady...he's gonna say how he saw god in Islam.... :D these r things tats happening in malaysia....... :umm: some of ma punjabi frens at uni.....were mad at em.....i juz laughed n said....."chaar muyee to kya hua,jeevat kayee hazaar" why wasnt it.....jeevat kayee lakh or crore? we dun need this kinda ppl in sikhi....let them go bhull chukk maaaf

i heard the same too....there were 2 Bhai Gurdas Ji...one during Guru Arjan Dev Ji's time.....n another bhai Gurdas Ji during Guru Gobind Singh's time

only 1 thing is hittin me again n again when i think bout satvir singh he juz took amrit few weeks back n he has got so much pyaar for sikhi whereby moorakhs like me...its beens years....n i dun have tat........tat strikes hard into the heart

i totally agree AK47....good post :TH: well when the youths got together & organised a shaheedi in conjunction wit the darbar sahib attack last year......we made a t-shirt.....wit Baba Jarnail Singh's photo on it.....n like numbers u see on footballers jersey....it was never forget 84..... believe me....those t-shirts were only worn by us(youths who organised the semagam)......n tat sent out a big message to the oteher youths.......the youths ddint know wat happened in 84.....they were asking questions bout 84...... they were asking if we had more t-shirts in a way i feel its a way of doin parchaar......i;ve a few tops......which hav khandas on it our sikh society in the uni.....most of the members r monay.....they drink smoke etc....but when it comes to these kinda thigns.....they want the khanda to be there....they say its represents us as sikhs........i think we shud look at from another perspective......cos they r proud of it.....tats y they put it up on their tops......if we were good enuff.......we can use tat n get them interested in sikhi....i duno how to do it.. ...juz my moorakhs thoughts bhull chukk maaf

good thread wat bout wedding cards/invitations that has gurbani on it? ppl juz throw the cards where ever they want....jhootey hath n etc i remembe attending a gurmat here few years back.....we were having a debate one afternoon.....n i wrote some bani tuks....in english(romanised)......cos i felt tat d easiet way of getting things done...n it was fast....after the debate was over....i wanted to throw away the paper which has gurbani on it......then the facilitator of my jatha....hold me....he was like no singh.....this is gurbani though it is in english(romanised) some ppl may not agree on this....but it is totally acceptable to me well i think much effort is needed in educating ppl bout all these things bhul chuk muaff

not necessarily bhainjee.....u may have done something good in the past life....tats y we r given this human body.....hence...we shud be working hard...japping naam...so tat we get chutkaaraa from this jooon..... bhainjee there is 3 types of karam 1. praalbadh karam this is wat u hve done in the past life......ur swaas...which family u goin to......is all decided by these karams wat u gonna face in this life....its all here 2. kereiye maan n sanchet karam these r karam tat u do during this life....so when u leave this world tomoro.....it is gonna turn into praalbadh n decide ur next janam so wat ever u did in the past is being paid in this life some even say.....wat ever u do in this life.....can be settled in this life..... remember 1 thing, wat ever u do, good or bad.....its karam.....if u do good then its good karam......n u will get good phal.....if u do bad deed....u will get bad phal forgive me for my mistakes, i only limited budhi bhul chuk maaf pls do correct me where ever im wrong

bhainjee, dun worry, dun ever think guru sahib will never listen to u, we human beings can think like tat...we often look at peoples avgun...but guru sahib doesnt do a few chaupai sahib dey paath daily.....n ask for guru sahibs help like pheena ji said remain persistent....keep on listening to gurbani "tithay gharee-eh matt mann buddh"
