  1. Himmit Sohi is the "president of the committie" who has let the power get to his head.
  2. problem is bhai saab GDD has made some valid points, but isnt there 2 sides to a story?
  3. the thing is though a sikh shouldnt be gay or straight, as the lord is formless and our love and our devotion should be to the lord, yes gursikhs do get married but whats the purpose of that marriage, is it for lust? when two gursikhs get married there 2 souls join into one and they prosper their sikhi together with both souls in one, and when they do anand karaj thats why u do parkarmeh to show maharaj is the centre of attention of their lives then why do gursikhs produce offsprings? could be argued that its a natural thing, how would sikhi prosper if younger generations werent born, the souls waiting to be liberated, by being given this human form wont be able to be born if it werent for that offspring
  4. i dont think the bhai saab was implying a sex change, correct me if im wrong but is ur question asking that, is homosexuality allowed in sikhi?
  5. the thing is they aint worried about the person whose wearing the kirpan, its mre if someone else gets there hands on it what they can do

  9. yeahh i mean thats a major stadium huna alot of amritdhari gursikhs gonna go watch matches in the future, im hoping to secure tickets to the Carling cup final and if man utd get to the fa cup final for that as well you can see where theyre coming from with security and stuff but if the kirpan is kept gupt there no issue
  10. Totally agree. I just don't get the thinking of people who seem ok to remove their Kirpan so easily o yeah that goes for sure, whats the worth of carrying the kirpan, when its places like these u'll probably need it the most huna sometimes violence nd stuff happens etc, theres no worth huna if u gonna wear it during ishnaan etc and then when you're out and about taking it off
  11. just got this email: Dear Sir Thank you for your email. I note your reference to the statutory defence provided in the Criminal Justice Act 1988 in relation to carrying an article with a blade for religious reasons. I note that this relates to the carrying of such an article in a public place. Access to Wembley Stadium on an event day is only granted through possession and presentation of a valid ticket to the relevant event, and access is subject to our Stadium Ground Regulations (which can be found on www.wembleystadium.com/events/groundregulations). Our Ground Regulations prohibit the possession of knives, weapons or dangerous items in the ground. I’m sure you will appreciate our rationale for this regulation. As your dagger is likely to fall within the list of prohibited items, you are liable to be refused entry to or ejected from the Stadium if you carry this with you. I appreciate that you may have a statutory defence available to you in relation to any potential police charge, however admission to the Stadium is a private matter governed by our regulations. 19. o ok ur from the states, wicked i think the whole hatred amongst certain individuals of both faiths is simply due down to ego, those who apparently "rep" islam or sikhism till they die, like u see on thers screennames and stuff, the hatred is between them, those individuals who are egoless just get on with there day to day lives in humility without judging others by there ccaste religion etc those ppl only see a light glowing back at them, the lords light they see the persons religion or colour only the lord residing in each and everyoneee
  20. id listen to music if it had any real meaning to it, in hip hop all u hear is girl this and drink that, its not very goood for a persons spiritiual life, i mean with other types music also its almost meaningless if you've spent a good few hours listening too music inside u feel empty still, well its from my point of view for others it may be different but when i listen to gurbani for a while it maybe whilst i do school work etc i still get some peace from it
  21. if you dont mind me asking abdus salam, where abouts are you from?
