I'm not sure about BCU, but I think if you want to find out if a university is good or not, best place to look is at league tables. Also, it depends on which subject you want to study as different uni's are known to be good in different areas. Aston is a good uni and it has a lot of sangat, so you wouldn't have to worry about that. I go to University of Birmingham and we have a good sikh society, usually hold events every week. We also hold events with BCU and Aston, and there is a lot of sangat around, but like someone has said in a previous post, there's more Indians at aston and BCU than birmingham uni. I think you should visit the unis on open days and see which one suits u the most hope tht helps.

wjkk wjkf, I was just wondering if any1 knew whether i could download or listen to the kirtan online that comes on alpha etc punjabi in the evenings? Im including boys nd girls into this as i think both make a big deal about it in sum way! I agree with 'akaal ustat's' post and all i wanna say is that keeping kesh is veryy veryy important!! BUT it is BASIC rehat... sumthin that every1 is meant 2 do! its not meant 2 be difficult or challenging! but i can obviously understand it is but if we can;t see past the exterior or what society wants, then were not goin 2 get very far in our sikhi! were falling at the first hurdle, how can we expect 2 reach guru jee in this life?!
