  1. mod edit: you are entitled to your opinion, but please watch your tone, and when you speak to others, try and be as respectable as possible. There is bad in all groups of people, try and see the good.
  2. about 80% of the amrit shakiya youth these days are too arrogant to even look at another brother or sister and help them out! instead they stand there all high and mighty, holyer than thou and whatnot! if any of them bothered to invest more time and efforts into helping others that arent 'on the right path' then maybe theyd get a better response from them.. beats me how most dont even care, but dont get me wrong ive met a few that actually have the time of day for a brother and sit down and talk and discuss issues within the sikh youth, but most are seemingly reluctant to want to speak to other regarded 'lower' than them.. i know plenty of supposed 'sikh' girls who freely go after muslim boys, when the muslim boys arent even chasing them :-S ive witnessed it first hand at uni, i have many muslim friends, none into religion whatsoever and are mainly just there for work and a decent chill, i see plenty of sikh girls and i know 1 from first hand experience that went out of her way to get with 2 of them, inviting them back to hers, cooking for them and everything, and for what, the 2 of them to reject her! massive LOL!
  3. ohymydays, this guy is a disgrace! how dare he have singh in his name! how dare he even think about trying to represent his faith! i mean, who does this guy think he is, if he doesnt follow everything completely 100% and truly then how dare he even try to relate to the religion at all, and even dare try represent it in some way or form! what a disgusting sport he is following, oh yeah its a sport... wow man, shall we all make a petition so that this guy isnt allowed to enter a boxing competition if he even tries to say hes a sikh or has singh in his name! quick someone, make a petition so that we can all sign it cause this guys such twat, evidently...
  4. when did i say i was better or imply i was better than the rest of 'you' and yeh of course, everyone sees sikhs as clowns :gg: what planet are you on, a stupid films made and you just think the whole religions getting labelled :-S lets face it though, there bare pr*cks who go round with paghs and trimmed beard or even sometimes beards and drink and smoke and whatnot, so dont you think there the problem and there giving off that image rather than an ehmi bollywood film! if sikhs are being perceived as clowns then do something about the original problem, dont have a go at people for there perception of sikhs when your doing nothing to change it yourself! put it in context, your signing a petition, for what? so you can stop a film which perceives sikhs as being clowns? look at the source of the problem.. hmmmmm let me think, oh all those so called sikhs who wear paghs and trim there beards and drink and do other things such as that which isnt accepted in sikhism, then go and sign your petition, when you can say there perception is wrong, which at the moment for the majority of 'sikhs,' isnt!
  5. your right, i am jus sittin here behind my screen talkin cheap talk. ur sitting behind ur screen too. truth hurts dont it bruv? hurts me too. but your obviously bothered, whereas i am not  i just find it funny how so many people get wound up and righteous and do naff all about it, this amuses me, on most issues not just this one :D
  6. yeh cause most are all talk and no action, all wel sitting a computer screen and signing petitions, where the actual protests, where the actual action, words dont seem to do anything yet everyone carries on chatting breeze like there gonna change the world...
  7. some of you have some good points but some of you's are clueless! like someones already mentioned, most of the sikh youth (if you can call them that) have trimmed beards and paghs and go clubbing and whatnot! by stopping this film from reaching the cinemas your not gonna achieve anything! all it is, is cheap laughs and jokes, its not the end of the world! maybe y'all should pay more attention to the real issues affecting sikhi rather than a standard bollywood film! cause lets face it, thats the least of everyones problems, sticks and stones and ehmi movies.. cant see why so much of a fuss has been kicked up, place your focus and attention on the real goals rather than that.. isnt there certain people and certain sects within the religion you should be more focused on dealing with?? whats sitting on your computer gonna do...
  8. dont generalise all hindus you twit, i read your post and it jus seem to be attacking hindus altogether, use your brain before you post and it is racist what your saying and it is anti hindu as you like to say it! im sure you know as much as me that its not only hindus that seem to be doing such things and if we disregard all the 'fake' sikhs then you shouldnt categorise these 'fake' hindus as being the same as the rest of the hindus that folow there religion properly! go educate yourself fool
  9. 1. you may not be good enough for the job 2. those 'druggy' goreh might be better for the job 3. you may be overqualified and they may think in the long run your going to leave the company for better things. for example, when i was going to uni i applied at subway for a job, he looked at my cv and looked at how well i was dressed and didnt even interview me. He simply said, 'you've got the job, just one question: what uni are you going to' obviously this was a trick question as firstly he didnt want me to go to uni and secondly if i did go he wanted me to go local, as soon as i said liverpool the interview was over... dont look too much into things about jobs, its almost impossible these days to get a job that the employer thinks your perfect for, dont think its anything personal against your dastar or beard or whatnot its just luck, sheer luck! good luck anyway!
  10. LOL since when has it become a crime to go out with a muslim man and why does everyone think theres always another motive behind everything?! unless the girl was amrit shakiya then in a sense i cant see a problem but yes, it must be because the muslim guys trying to brainwash her blah blah blah...
  11. im not sayin they are, but everyone puts so much emphasis on the guys role in this they almost disregard the girls part in most situations! its almost like the singhs are playin a macho role and not seeing the full picture and only seeing what they want to see! dont get me wrong, my sister is part of the kauregous group movement in the uk and she seems to tell me a new story everyday after shes back from her meetings. but then i ask her do any of you go to clubs?! do any of you see what REALLY happens?! and no, she replies because she doesnt and most of you dont! im giving an alternate view because ive never had any muslim friends but since ive come to uni the group that we go out in is like a third sikh a third muslim and a third hindu, so obviously i going to see what happens every night that were out...
  12. does it not worry you what some of your 'penjis' are doing during the day and night..
  13. yes totally true, im not saying that there more to blame than the muslim extremists but im saying that in SOME cases they must share atleast SOME of the blame.. dont get me wrong, im only arguing this point because whenever i seem to come on the forum there seems to be a thread about some muslim or another whose converted someone and yes it is a serious issue and the case above is true but im sure theres paapis within our own religion that dont get talked about on here?! isnt there!...
  14. it worries me a great deal, but it worries me more that i see more and more sikh kuria stupid enough to let it happen to themselves! you cant always see it from your own angle unless you've been out to all the places where it supposedly happens - clubs, bars etc because lets face it, thats where most of it originates from.
  15. the key is education, if the youth of today paid more attention to studying and more youth got into parliament and political issues, surely this would increase the chances of the goal which is khalistan?! correct me if im wrong but the only avenues the sikh youth is goin through is the usual IT, business, accounting, law - not many are interested at all in politics, but thats just my view in general of the UK! surely if you promoted this more and promoted EDUCATION more your goals would be achieved!
  16. is this a muslim hate forum or a sikh sangat forum?! everyone seems to post more on a so called 'muslim extremist' problem than anything else...
  17. sorry guys/girls - didnt mean to offend by using the term 'sikh kuria' but how else did you want me to put it *confused* 'misguided sikh youth' apologies...
  18. indeed, my sisters part of the kaurageous group and is always sayin to me' well you dont know the full story' and she seems to see all these videos and talk to all these girls, and ok fair enough it happens and its not right but in some to many cases im sure that all the sikh girls arent as innocent as they are portrayed! it seems they can use religous people as some kind of escape route when in trouble as they know theyll be rescued! many muslims are given a bad name when in actual fact its kanjaree sikh kuria that do the wrongdoings!
  19. im sure theres a shop in smethwick, it sells alot of tablas and dhadhs etc, forgot what the name of it is though, maybe someone in birmingham would know?!
  20. youd be surprised to know that all these 'sikh' girls arent so innocent! i go out clubbing regularly, lets say 3 times a week and what i see from the sikh girls simply confuses me! first i was naive like many and thought oh those muslims try to convert everyone, but having westernised punjabi muslim friends i realised that i couldnt have been further from the truth! YES, there are extremists, but our so called sisters arent totally innocent in all of this! for example, bhangra night a few weeks back and i was chillin at the bar with my muslim friend and he was embarassed for me at how easy the sikh girls were! i just laughed and shrugged it off but watched carefully through the night and was surprised as most of them werent even drinking yet they felt the need to be over everyone! now im not sayin that there all like that, but you have got to understand that LOADS of sikh girls just give it up to easily and i will go as far as sayin they HASSLE hindus, muslims, goreh on nights out so that they can get something, whether it be a relationship or something else! now i dont want to get judged by my actions on clubbing etc im simply here to offer an alternate view so that the religous people in our religion can get more of a broader view on things. i browse the forum and like to read up on many things as the religion genuinely does interest me and perhaps one day i might pursue a similar lifestyle to yours, but at the moment im just givin an impression from my side and hope that you can appreciate that our 'sisters' arent always in the right...
  21. most amrit shakiya people i talk to judge me, they always preach on about how great what there doing is and how the rest of us are all people that can do no right - however, it must also be mentioned that i know alot of amrit shakiya people that talk to me with piyaar and try and explain things to me instead of talking at me! i think theres a mix of the two in society today, the earlier should be eliminated as it drives more and more people away from sikhi rather than towards sikhi!
  22. someones been posting as me on my computer - its another member from here but i wont mention his name! silly bugger!
  23. in reference to the original post - i think it was an excellent post to be fair and it was spot on! although im not amrit shakiya (although i used to be) it all makes sense in what you have written and although it has no effect on me, i blieve that it should be followed if you are an amritdharee! people may think im stupid for agreeing when im not even amrit shakiya - but i see amrit shakiya people everyday getting more and more corrupted but i am in no position to lecture them as i have broken my amrit - but still feel the need to speak up on such matters!
