Singhs or monay are not jokes lets get that clear, they just dont want needless confrontation for various reasons. There is no harm in being friends with muslims, but being aware of what majority of them believe in and what kind of acitivties they could be par taking, that may harm you or the wider community at a later date, is always a good idea. singhs/sikhs in general have a slave mentality. wen sum1 does sumin wrong and does something to take the mick outta sikhs we try and justify wat theyve done. and make out like the singhs who actually are trying to do sumthing about the problem seem wrong. its like wen a master beats a slave the other slaves convince themselves that the slave was wrong and deserve the beats to keep wat little theyve got. guru hargobind sahib ji told us to go to the villages and inspire revolution for the better. nowadays i dont see any singhs capable of doin this.

(Guru Gobind Singh Ji) your situation is a hindu influenced punjabi cultural problem. i suggest you find a punjabi cultural forum to discuss this situation. maybe you'll have more of a chance of finding a solution to your situation there.

Gurfateh how come Vedanti is coming to this event, Isn’t that a bit hypocritical as he supports the Nanaksi calendar and will be celebrating Gurgaddi on 21st and then going to hazur sahib to help with the Puratan calendar celebrations? Whats his stand on the dates? Im not tryin to defend vedanti. but just cus sum1 has a difference of opinion to yours doesnt mean u shud boycott there events and not support em when they doing sumin gud. unless there doing sumin thats fundemenatlly wrong. we always crying and kikin up a fuss over the minor issues but to scared to deal wiv the bigger more serious ones.
