Where were AKJ during Arya Smaji movement?

Please discuss? I don't see any reference for their contribution? I know Bhai Randhir Singh ji was there but most of the contribution comes from non-AKJ singhs.

Nihangs even threatened Swami Dayanand Saraswati when he spoke insipid about Guru Nanak Dev ji and later on he apologized.

What are the three pillars of the Sikh faith? Three Rudiments of Life as promoted by Sikh faith are:

1. Kirt Karo - Work hard

2. Naam Japo - Worship the Lord

3. Wand Chhako - Share your earnings

If I go by your post then AkJ is doing only number 2..

This is the reason why Kirt Karo, Naam japo and Wand Chhako need to work together. One of them working in isolation is not the complete remedy. Guru Nanak Dev ji also refered to it:

The physician is sent for to prescribe remedy;

He taketh my hand and feeleth my pulse.

The ignorant physician knoweth not

That it is my mind the pain is.

Physician, go home, take not my curse with thee.

I am imbued with my Lord, to whom givest thou medicine…?

Let's make pentinence the paper, Thy name,

O Lord, the prescription…

What does the Guru suggest:

Make countenance thy furnace, resignation thy goldsmith,

Understanding thy anvil, divine knowledge thy tools,

The fear of God thy bellows, austerities thy fire,

Divine love thy crucible, and melts God's name therein.

In such a true mint the Word shall be coined.

Also, can anyone of you anwser these questions? You have right to remain silent if you don't want to but don't worry its not "Nindiya" because sikhism allows us to question anything we don't understand within our panth.

* How many Punjabi farmers' families who committed suicide because of financial poverty are being supported by AKJ?

* How many struggling Sikh students in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia or wherever AKJ has membership are being financially supported by AKJ to help then through college?

* How many non-Sikh hungry people are being fed by kitchens run by AKJ?

* Did AKJ send any representation to famine hit places around the globe?

* How many AKJ members who are doctors are members of the organization Doctors Without Borders and represent AKJ by volunteering their services to the underpriviledged?

* How many AKJ members who are professors represent AKJ by spending their sabatical break teaching in towns and cities that lacks good teachers?

Learner singh veer i think those questions are for all of us as sikh not just AKJ or a particular jathaa. Don't expect other people to do things, we need to do them, others will follow.
