i read jail chittian(punjabi) and i also read autobiography of bhai sahib bhai randhir singh (english)... in neither book have i come accross anything that would make somebody think bhai sahib believed ragmala was bani. Also, there are many singhs today who had the darshan of bhai sahib bhai randhir singh jee. Wouldn't singhs like Giani Amolak singh jee, Master Ujaggar singh jee and Bhai Jaswant singh jee (Khalsa jee) know what Bhai sahibs views were? If he believed in Ragmala singhs who were close to him would tell people that Bhai sahib believed in Ragmala. The truth is HE DIDNT. and "RajKaregaKhalsa" heres a lil tip :- when ur writing on a public forum try and write facts you can back up. Just cuz u know some1 who read this book and u trust them doesnt mean the whole world does. So unless u can give teh exact page number dont post up what u've "heard"

All you folks either give proof of that Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Jee wrote in his book that he believed in raagmala. If you can't prove it then stop wasting everyone's time in here.

Why don't we get rid of all ur doubts by asking the singh who translated" Jail chittian " in english if he remembers anything about Bhai Saihb saying that in his book.

And navjot singh wat is ur stand on that story of Bhai Randheer Singh Jee's end time? Do you believe its true that he had to pay for not believing that raagmala was gurbani?

For the people who think this is a raagmalaa debate you are lost. Its not. The only thing I wanted to see was these people who are trying to say that they have all this respect for Bhai Randheer Singh Jee and Baba Gurbachan Singh Jee. Are they just lying to make theirselves look good? These same people don't believe that both of the gursikhs were on the same spritual level. They believe that one of the other was better than the other cuz they believed in raagmala and the one who didn't had to pay for it. What kind of double standard is that? You are questioning Bhai Randheer Singh Jee's life time kamayee if you are saying silly things like he had to pay for that.

If someone ever came out with a story like Baba Gurbachan singh had to suffer before his death cuz he believed in raagmala you people will go nuts. I would probably go against that story too. and tell that person that they are out of their mind. Because of the guarantee that he was a pooran gursikh and anything like that would never happen to him and same goes for Bhai Sahib.

Why is that story you hear about about Bhai Randheer Singh Jee paying

before his death is ONLY heard from SOME taksali singhs??? none of the scholars or any other sikh katha vachaks or Bhai Randheer Singh Jee's close friends have never heard such BS?
