i so wish i could come - but i live in California (west coast usa) but represent our Sikh Kaum as much as possible why cant this big important stuff ever happen around where i live? we do have a lot of majarahs though, but my parents never let me go. one time, after a fremont rainsabaee kirtan - the cal. samagam this year, and there was a majarah the next morning, but i was asleep

Upon arrival in Lanark, on saturday afternoon, we will all be gathering at the Cartland Bridge Hotel, in Lanark (address below). If we all meet there between 2-4pm. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Lanark, on it's southern tip. It can be accessed easily as you enter Lanark from the motorway. See below an exact location map:

The hotel is where we may be camping, but this is not finalised at this stage. There is a combination of six camp venues, and we will be allocated one of these. This will be confirmed tommorrow or on Saturday morning. I will update everyone. The organisers are busily organising all the details, of the big gathering. The Clan Wallace are camping on the grounds of the Cartland Bridge hotel. Ideally, we can camp alongside them (and we may well be, if Waheguru desires).

The Sunday morning PARADE begins from the Cartland Bridge Hotel, at 10am. We all need to be ready and there for 9am. We will be allocated a place in the PARADE by the organisers. We need to be organised, in order and looking vibrant in BLUE & KESRI. The wish is to have a row of Sevadaars at the front, with kipaans, or nishaan sahibs and the rest then to follow in rows behind.

Sleeping options:

For Saturday evening, there are four sleeping options:

a) camping (approx. 20 will be camping)

b) Cartland Bridge Hotel - book a room. Speak with Neil on neil@cartlandbridge.co.uk or 01555-664420

c) Book a room at a Lanark B&B.

d) Sleep at Glasgow gurdwara (a group of 15 plus Singhs sleeping there)

Everyone is free to decide how and where they wish to sleep. There will be full showering and toilet facilities in the camp site, just to re-assure those who are keen to stay clean. Please note that, if you decide to book a room, that is for you to arrange. Contact Neil above, for bookings at Cartland or look up a B&B in Lanark.

On Saturday afternoon, we will all gather 2-4pm, relax, eat (bring your own food and water) and then plan for the Sunday events. Everyone is advised to get to sleep for 8.30pm, on Saturday. On Sunday, people are free to stay till the end of the activities till 11pm, or leave at 6pm (after afternoon displays, drama, music, gatka, keertan, etc).
