I second Sahib Singh.

Gurbani should be sung using traditional musical instruments, the new-age 'beats' or 'tunes' take away from the essence of Gurbani.

Guru Sahib sung with string instruments, in which Gurmat Sangeet has always been sung, using taus, sitar, dilruba, etc. That is why Gurbani is in various raags to be sung in those musical raags.

I think what she's done is brilliant!

However, Her voice is not up to par, and I would rather by Jagjit Singh's latest tape in terms of pure melody.

I also think that Tej Kaur's - Songs of the Soul Bride (which I still want to buy) has a much better and melodious voice.

Again, she needs to be commended.

I think her voice is really suited for the kind of album she come up with. Well depends on person to person....but like her voice too.
