S1ngh: If you call Indra Ghandi,, Indra Kotee... that is total disrespect.... i will tell you why... some people on this forum might admire her but you just used offensive language which is inapporopriate.. please also watch your language before you tell me to watch mine..... have sme shame!!!!!! Do you know what KOTEE means... ya i think it would be filterd if i wrote it down in english translation.... ADMIN SHOULD TAKE NOTE!!!!!!!!

I think Indra Ghandi needs a JI in front of her name.... the reasonw hy i say this is because... if krishna deserves enough respect to have ji in fron of his name i think Indra Ghandi something higher then ji :TH:

indra gandhi = krishan = raam chander = thugs, devils and assaulters, minority killers.

E.g. indira gandhi ordered killing of Sikhs and promoted rapes of Sikh women

Krishan supported the gamblers who put their wife on the line and did rapes.

Raam Chander cut of hair and nose of Raavan's sister and did a lot of karam kaand as he was told by brahmans. He was a brahman slave as he did what brahmans wanted him to. He also did jugs and burned animals alive. he also killed Shimbook Rishi because of his caste. Raavan was not a bad guy. he was the leader of the original indians, dravids and and raam chander and his gang were aryans. Raahu and Kaitoo were great generals of Raavan not some evil astrological figures.

well theres 2 interpreatations.

many people believed in the folk stories of bhagat prahlad ji etc, and guru ji included this in SGGS ji and gave it a moral lesson of if you follow maharaj, this is what exactly will happen to you.

secondly, these ages can b translated to a state of mind, doing paath = satjug

going into kaam etc=kal (darkness)

it doesnt neccesarily mean krishan ji himself was present.

but theres also the real scenario where the fighting really happened. at the spot of the battle, it is said that the blood of some is still there.

so its all possible.

kal is a state of mind

and kal is also a historical thing as well

gustaphi maaf

Kandola ji gave 2 explanations and one of which is the following

going into kaam etc=kal (darkness)

kal is a state of mind

and kal is also a historical thing as well

gustaphi maaf

By khalsaterishaan ji .......... and the khalsa fauj says this is rite

listen guru ke piyareo there is no such thing called satyug, kalyug etc.........

its all in ur inside . If u say its there then can u fix its age ?

its not like that my dear friend. these yugs are present inside u . u have to decide in which yug u want to live.

when u get up early in the morning and do naam abhyas its satyug in u .

when same day in the afternoon u show your power or force on other its treta yug in u

when in the evening u abuse some one and vikars flows through ur body and soul then its kalyug. so in one day only all the yugs passed through u

In the above 2 posts the sikhs posting here say that kaljug or any other jug is a state of mind/body and not any time period

They say when a person does bad things/negative things then it is kaljug.

If I am wrong in understanding these statements of fellow sikhs please correct me.

For one moment if we agree with the above interpretation of kaljug as given by those 2 posters then how do you explain the following tuk from dhan dhan siri guru granth sahib ji?

sqjugu qRyqw duAwpru BxIAY kiljugu aUqmo jugw mwih ]

Why does guru sahib call kaljug as uttam (best of all)?

Sikh Missionaries please explain

Admin ji please clear up this thread of irrelevant material to the Issue being discussed

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
