French Govt. & Christmas

Does any one know if the French govt. participates or funds Christmas celebrations in France in any form? Any photographs of this?

Do they acknowledge Christmas in govt funded schools in any way? Is Christmas a holiday in France? Is it a holiday in public schools?

Please specify your sources of info if possible.

no source of info but i'd think (in my opinion) they most likely do..

their 'front' of being a secular state is a farce and hypocracy..

their so called secular law for instance on banning religious items in schools is just designed to target the 5 million strong Muslim community in France..

I would see this type of information as posing a huge problem for the French government.

Does any one know if this has been honed in on, on PR and legal fronts by those leading the battle against the absurdity of the French "laws"?

I've read many stories and opinions but don't think i've seen the comparison being made for the public to consider. Any takers on putting together something intelligent to get out to various press?
