Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!

Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji has voiced its concerns about the abuse towards Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji & Sikh Principles in a "Sandesh". This Sandesh strongly reinforces Sikh Rehit Maryada on a number of issues where Sikh Principles are abused and Gurdwaras exploited.

We humbly implore the Sikh Community to help create awareness of this Maryada across the UK and start by posting the Sandesh and its English translation onto the Notice boards of your local Gurdwaras.

Together we have to work towards implementing this Maryada across all UK Gurdwaras. The Sangat has to take a leading role in bringing resolve at those Gurdwaras who are currently acting against this Maryada.

Sri Akal Takht Sahib is clear about its position in the Sandesh and as Supreme Sovereignty for Sikhs worldwide we must aim to adhere to this Maryada for the betterment of Sikhism in UK.
