I love all of these- but this one is a lesson I'm learning now. It's so difficult but once this is mastered you'd feel like you can handle any kind of suffering with grace and faith like our gurus did instead of bitterness and self pity.

Sorry this is a little off topic but I just have a few questions: which Guru compiled Sukhmani Sahib? What is the purpose of Sukhmani Sahib (e.g. to bring peace?)? Why is it not mandatory to read Sukhmani Sahib everyday if you are a Amritdaree?

Waheguru ji ka khalsa!Waheguru ji ki fateh!

Shri sukhamani saheb ji is complied by sikh's 5th guru,Guru arjun dev ji.Once upon a time couple of peoples comes in front of guru ji asking help. They said to guru ji that plz compile something that will help resolve all the problems & we will feel happiness forever we will never feel sad.So to fullfill there demand guru ji compiled shri sukhamani saheb ji.Sukha-mani means sukho ki mani.

When we read shri sukhamani saheb ji we feel happiness from with in.

Also as it is not possible for us to chant god name whole day because we have to do our karam also.So these bani is compiled so that while we read it once in a day our 24 hundred breadth is successful means whole day is successful.
