Sardar Mann Not Allowed To Speak At Akal Takht Today

Today again the Akal Takht anniversary celebrations were censored and that section of the prog where Mann Dal and Badal Dal workers clashed was not shown by etc punjabi.

In fact I noticed a delay of about 15 minutes between the etc punjabi telecast and audio on the SGPC site .

This was perhaps done to censor some portions of the program before hand.

I heard the shouting on the SGPC website audio but the audio was quickly switched off .

Perhaps media in India is indulging in self censorship which should be seen in the in the light of the above article.

Moreover the Indian media has not been pro sikh either any time.

Today only Baba Harnam Singh Dhumma of Damdami Taksal mentioned Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale's name whereas other pro badal speakers did not mention anything about the Sikh martyrs.

Sardar Mann and other pro Khalistan leaders were not allowed to speak.

Now we are getting some news that some jathedars including vedanti along with "Harnam Singh Dhumma" have issued a hukamnama to not let Sardar Mann speak from centenary celebrations in future.

What happened,what hukamnama was issued or who issued is not clear.

Details are sketchy and will become clearer tommorow .

Akal Takht calls Sikhs to boycott Simranjit Singh Mann

AMRITSAR: The Sikh clergy Sunday issued an edict from Akal Takht asking Sikhs not to allow hardline Akali leader Simranjit Singh Mann to attend any religious function following his supporters made a violent attack on Shiromani Gurdawara Parbhandak Committe president Avtar Singh Makkra during a religion function.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was also present on the occassion. Both the leaders were safely escorted out from the venue. Badal has blamed the hand of Congress led state government in the attack.

The five Sikh high priests later called an emergency meeting and decided to boycott Mann alongwith SGPC member Baldev Singh sirsa, Bhai Ram Singh, Harcharan Singh and Varinder Singh Mann president of youth akali dal of Mann group. Akal Takhat Jathedar Joginder Singh Vedanti pronounced the decision of five Sikh high priests.

Mann, a former IPS officer of Punjab cadre is supporter of Khalistan. He had resigned from his post in protest against Operation Blue Star conducted by army in Golden Temple.

According to eyewitnesses Makkar's turban fell on ground when he was roughed up by over dozen youth carryign swords, eyewitnesses said. An ugly situation was averted since supporters of Badal maintained restrained inside the temple.

SGPC was observing the 400th foundation day of Akal Takhat, the highest temporal seat of Sikhs in the premises of Golden Temple where Mann was present with his supporters. Media was also present in strength during the function.

Situation took turn for the worst when Mann was not granted permission to speak in the congregation organized by the SGPC. Supporters of Mann then attacked SGPC Chief and snatched mike from him. The members of Dal Khalsa outfit were among the attackers.

Before the situation slipped out of control, the task force of the SGPC came forward and provided heavy security cover to Makkar and Badal and provided them safe passage.

When the supporters of Mann waved naked swords in the air the religious functions was disrupted, which forced SGPC to conclude the function before schedule. Hundereds of Sikh devotees including females and kids who were present on this occasion ran in panic out of the venue.

After the incident in joint press conference Makkar and Badal condemned Simarnjit Singh Mann for instigating his supporters to make an attack on Makkar.

Makkar and Badal described the action of Mann as against ethics and tenets of Sikh religion. They said thisa had happened in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib.

Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with anyone knocking Makkars turban off was not a good thing to do. On the one hand the Singh in France are battling hard to allow them to wear turbans to schools etc. Then we have Manns chamchey knocking Turbans off someones head. If the sides wanted to fight maybe they should have organised a traditional wrestling match in front of the Akal Takht between say Manns son and Sukhbir Badal.

It is interesting to see how quick Vedanti was to issue a Hukumnama as his ustaad Makkars dastaar was knocked off. When the UK Singh write to him to summon those who do beadbi of Guru Mahraj he ignores the petitions for years. Just shows that Vedanti thinks more of Makkar and the Kakkar Badal than he does of our eternal Guru Ji.

One report says Sardar Mann's turban was first removed by supporters of Nihal Singh Harianbailaan wala.

Meanwhile Sardar Mann and Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu have announced they will soon start a program to free the Gurdwaras from these masands.

Another report says Makkars turban was taken away by some one and could not be traced.

Badal and co needs to go away.. BADAL did extensive damage and made HUGE mockery of Akal Takht for past few years (It's huge joke on how he he change jatehdars). He clearly should be taken down from Politics. Maan, bittu.. they are well educated ppls but they should not do anything in quick way rather start a movement to get rid of Badal and his old mates.

Mr Badal alleged that Mr Mann had repeated the acts of his ‘‘nana’’ (maternal grandfather Aroor Singh who had honoured General O’Dyer at Akal Takht after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Mr Mann said he had already sought unconditional apology from the Sikh panth for the acts of his grandfather and maintained that, ‘‘Mr Badal had not tendered any apology on behalf of his grandfather, Fateh Singh, who had allegedly added poison in water during Jaiton Morcha’’.

I Think Mann forgot to mention where Badal's "zidhi" land came from...Badal blames Simranjit Singh Mann's Nana (meternal Grandfather) for working for the British and giving Dyre a sarropa, which Mann and APPOLIGISED FOR, BUT WHAT ABOUT BADAL?

Badal's FATHER was a traitor who was also an Agent of the British at that Time, all the Marabe's (100's of acres of land) Badal's got is only because Badals FATHER gave the where-about's of Babar Akali's (the real guy's doing Maharaj Ji's seva) to the British Army. And Badal follow's on from him...playing around with Maharaj Ji's Bakshia Akal Takht like its some kind of Joke...and helping that Nirankari Gurbaksh escape after killing so many Sikhs and disrespecting our living Guru's saroop.

FORGET BADAL APPOLAGISING FOR HIS GRANDFARTHERS ACTS, HE HAS YET HIS FARTHERS AND HIS OWN ACTS TO APPOLIGISE FOR!
