300 Years Of Damdami Taksal

Damdami Taksal, Guru Gobind Singh Ji's institution for the teaching of correct Gurbani pronunciation, Katha, Keertan and Gursikhi will be celebrating it's 300th Anniversary on August 7th 2006.

For this reason, the Students of Damdami Taksal International (UK) as well as the Guru's Saadh Sangat have organised an Akhand Paath followed by a Keertan/Katha Smagam.

The details are as follows:

Venue: Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara, 106 East Park Road, Leicester.

Date: 27-29th July (Evening of 29th will be the Smagam)

Why: To celebrate Guru Sahibs School of Gursikhi.

Please forward to all and take Laahaa in this Mahaan Smagam.

My brother asked when will the Keertan/Katha start... the programme is as follows:

27th July - 5pm Arambh Sri Akhand Paath Sahib

29th July - 4pm Bhog Sri Akhand Paath Sahib

4:15 - 5:15pm Katha by Baba Darshan Singh Ji on Salok M: 9va

5:15 - 6pm Rehraas Sahib Ji

6 - 10pm Keertan/Katha Divaan
