so there is a difference in pronounciaition right

like the 1st one is KIRPA

and 2nd one is meant to be read KRipA hunna ok so thats a R in the peir of the kakka

so why dont most people pronounce it so? grin.gif

or have i got it wrong?

Gurfateh- Nahee ji you have got it right.

There is that accent(i forget the name) under the KhaKaaa- meaning should be a rarra sound followed so would naturally be pronounced KRipa. However im not sure how people began saying KIrpaa instead.

people are so used to saying it in one way that they just stick to that one way....it's like.....people are mixing the same old punjabi language with gurmukhi....there aint no big difference buh most people aren't careful when they read bani....they jus say whatever they would say in evryday life lol......i started goin to santhya for a few daiz and woah it made a huge difference.....buh in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji both "KIrpa" and "KRipa" are used.....u jus gotta be careful while readin bani.....bhul chuk muaf

youre right.

its Kripa...

not kirpa...

when speakin in Punjabi, we say kirpa

BUT

please make sure when youre readin Gurmukhi, you say Kripa :TH:
