Giani Thaukur Singh Ji once said that people argue over where the mool mantar ends, but have those people ever jaaped the mool mantar?, do they even understand where it came from? have they even meditated on the word Ik OanKar? Bani is so powerful, but the people who tend to argue or engage in these things are the ones who least do any of the things above.

I dont know his personal veiw but his solution was , belive whichever, dont fight, and at least receite as much as you belive you should.

i know that someone said that little changes now will make big changesi n the future, but if we follow this simple advice , then guru will do kirpa and we will be shown the right path. I dont see the point of us fighting amongst each other when theres so much we have to do.

most of us dont understand it, and have never researched it, and will generally chose one veiw about something and stick to it ..........

but personally i dont know enough about mool mantar to take any veiw........ i could choose gurpursad or hosee bhi sach and join the crowds, i think thats what alot young people do, some people might have a brief look into the topic or even take the word of older people.

lets try and be sikhs and show everyone equality and see the light of God everywhere. think about what we say and do, are we even worthy to fight in the name of sikhi? have we enough gian, do we understand what we fight for?

theres lots to think about, much more than thers to fight about.

phaji i understand when u talk of shaarda......but regardless of that one way way is still right and all the others are rong

when Bhagat Dhanna Ji prayed day and nite to a stone thinking that God was only in that stone.....the stone spoke back to him and told him that "u are rite, i am God in this stone but everything els u see is also me"

his undoubted shaarda in that stone being God paid off and then God told him of the right way

what im trying to get at is even though u can have full faith...ther is still only one tru way!

ther is stil only one tru rehit, one tru mool mantar etc ......hopefully one day we can all have enough faith that God and Guru will put us right and tell us the truth!

Bhajji i dont know where you got that story of Bhagat Dhanna Ji but its is not true it is yet another false story from Sau Sakhi (i think but not sure) Bhagat Ji has 3 Saloks in Guru Granth Sahib Jee and NONE of them mention such thing as that and the story about that stone states the stone was givne to Bhagat Dhanna by some Bhaman who tried to fool him with it and it wasnt God who gave him Dharashan but shiva or krishna, it is just another made up story. If Guru Sahib put Dhanna Jee's Bani in Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Bhagat Dhanna must have been quite a extraordinary man, do you realy think such a man would get foooled by a Bhaman who said "u will get darshan from this rock" i think not...

info on Bhagat Dhanna:

http://rajkaregakhalsa.net/khalsa/bhagatdhanna.htm

Gurbani is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj mentions the different Bhagats all achieved spiritual bliss for different reasons. Bhagat Dhanna Jee achieved it through his innocence - this means purity of thought, purity of action, purity of soul.

Guru Nanak Dayv is the Embodiment of the Lord of the Universe. ||8||1||

Bhagat Dhanna gave his all into everything he did. His Bhagati was so pure-hearted that the Lord took another form to meet him personally. Ang 488 of Guru Maharaj:

The Lord of the Universe met him personally; Dhanna was so very blessed. ||4||2||

The whole sakhi is on a shabad of Bhai Gurdaas Ji in his Vaars on Pannaa 10:

In fact, innocence like that of Dhanna makes the sight of the Lord available.

This doesn't mean we should all start worshipping stones since the Brahman he took the stone off hadn't realised the Lord that way. Gurbani is teaching that we should adopt the qualities that all the Bhagats each achieved the Lord through. In Bhagat Dhanna Ji's case it means when we do Naam simran then we should clear our minds and focus completely, and when we do ardaas it should be heartfelt. The Bhagats were literally one in a million to achieve the Lord in these ways so they provided Gurbani reflective of their Godly qualities. These Godly qualities of the Bhagats are in the Gurbani of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and we have a very very very fast way to the Lord through Guru Ji that can provide all the virtues of the Bhagats, and our Gurus in one. All we have to do is put in an ounce of the energy Bhagat Dhanna did. d_oh.gif
