What better way to make money: add a religious tone to the product. All of a sudden, it seems legit. I guess it's better than the alternative???

excellent idea , we should all do it, promoting religion whilst doing kirat, more things should have a religios tone, it will keep our minds on a more spiritual level.

they could benfit from the naad of it ............... if they get addicted then that wud be better.

but on a more serious note, i dont think its to do with popularity, because only sikhs or someone whos read up on the words will know what it means. also it isnt written in gurmukhi which would have been beadbi of the gurmanter.

Missusing your faith to make money is common with the 3HO lot. Next the dimwits will launch Golden Temple condo-ms and Golden Temple branded viagra. These leaches need to be told where they can stick their products.

Thinking about it we have no such products in the UK, I may start buying pallets of baked beans from netto at 7 or 8p a can putting a Golden Temple label on them and flogging them for 30p a can. I will then expand into butter, Hemkunt shower gel, Kesh Shampoo, Hemkunt Drinking Water etc etc

this kinda thing is happening all over punjab. like the vehicles on the road that say stuff like Dhan dhan Baba Deep Singh, or Dhan Guru Nanak along with pictures. some even have Gurbani printed on them, like Bani Guru Guru Hai Bani, and there all covered in filth n dirt.... but this is a normal everyday thing.

+ theres nuff shops n businesses that say things like Tegh Bahadur Marbles... not even Guru Tegh Bahadur but Tegh Bahadur, and Dasmesh electronics and stuff.... Sikhi is being used for commercial purposes all over Punjab... its discusting. if all these people who actually use Gurbani and Sikhi to promote there businesses actually lived their lives in accordance to Gurbani, that would be a big step towards the betterment of Sikhi and the betterment of punjab.
