Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji taken to Reception Hall, wedding video broadcasted on Shaadi Show

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!

On Saturday 14th October 2006, the Shaadi Show on Sky Digital Channel (187) RAJ TV broadcasted an Anand Karaj that took place in a reception hall. The saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was brought from a local Gurdwara.

Immediately after the Anand Karaj the couple performed a Hindu Wedding Ceremony within the same complex.

By viewing such videos it becomes more and more transparent that families are reliant on advice from Gurdwara Committees and Granthis. Gurdwara Committees and Granthis choose to misadvise families for their personal gain.

As per Sri Akal Takht Sahib Hukamnama and Sandesh, Anand Karaj must always be performed at Gurdwaras. The attendees at the Anand Karaj were sitting on chairs in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Very very very very disrespectful to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Sitting on chairs????????????? (Did they have to take off their shoes?, if so why if they are already sitting on chairs.)

These people are trying to mess all Sikhi up by allowing chairs etc.

2 they have performed a hindu wedding right after a Sikh wedding so Guru granth Sahib is in the same room as a hindu ritual.

WOW this is beadbi and they dont care about how to care for GuruJi.

What did they have GuruJi resting on???????? ohmy.gif

It better not have been cardboard boxes with a white sheet over it :D

They should have rented a paalki or at least built a bigger Manji Sahib. grin.gif

The ones sitting on the floor didnt put a stop to this??????????? :D

(I bet it didnt show the people with their shoes on, drinking beer, dancing and smoking a cigar while in that reception hall or did they pick and choose how to beadbi SGGS)

The Sikh Authority needs to make a law that states GuruJi can only be in a Gurdwara or a house unless they get a permit (free) from Akal Takhat. :TH:
