His actual name is Latif Muhammed, but he changed his name to Kuldip Manak when he became a singer. He is a very gifted singer, no doubt, but far from a Sikh. He is quite a heavy drinker, and he does not or can not sing untill he's downed a few shots (i know and have seen this personally). Most likely, he sang this song totally drunk too. Anyways, he is still a very gifted artist.
