I hope no Sant Mahapurkh from the Panth was mentioned on that radio station and propaganda made up (?) to defame them in order to stop Sikhi Parchaar and Amrit Sanchaar.

If 'Harnek' was the only issue on the discussion today, then it is understandable and you may disregard this post...

Needless to say I disagree with you silly views that generalise way too much. Bhai Randhir Singh Ji (AKJ) even called someone a Sant and AKJ are quite well known for being anti sant lot.

There was a Sant Nindak who did Nindya (slander) of Sant Isher Singh Ji Rare Wale all his life he soon got a incurable illness and came to Sant Ji saying "forgive me Sant Ji all my life i slandered and sweared at you now iv got this illness/disease"

Sant Ji said you have reaped your own fruit i can not do anything because this is the will of Waheguru

The Nindak said in Sukhmani Sahib it says if a Sant is merciful he can erradicate the Nindaks Karma and change the Nindaks life i repent for my past Karma but theres no chance of me Japping Naam Now im about to die anytime

So Sant Ji closed his eyes and said i can do one thing for you give you another chance you will come back in another human body but i cant change the words of Gurbani which are Sat Kaal (ever lasting)

There are many stories of Nindaks Baba Harnam Singh Ji Bhucho Wale was slandered by a Nindak Baba Ji was informed of this and said the Nindak will go to Sachkhand Sewaks said how come? he swears and says ur Name Baba Ji said at least he says my Name

Slandering the Saints, one's reputation is lost.

One who is cursed by a Saint cannot be saved.

Slandering the Saints, one's place is defiled.

But if the Compassionate Saint shows His Kindness,

O Nanak, in the Company of the Saints, the slanderer may still be saved. ||1||

Slandering the Saints, one becomes a wry-faced malcontent.

Slandering the Saints, one croaks like a raven.

Slandering the Saints, one is reincarnated as a snake.

Slandering the Saints, one is reincarnated as a wiggling worm.

- like a fish, out of water, writhing in agony.

The slanderer of the Saint is hungry and is never satisfied,

as fire is not satisfied by fuel.

The slanderer of the Saint is left all alone,

like the miserable barren sesame stalk abandoned in the field.

The slanderer of the Saint is devoid of faith.

The slanderer of the Saint constantly lies.

The fate of the slanderer is pre-ordained from the very beginning of time.

O Nanak, whatever pleases God's Will comes to pass. ||6||

The slanderer of the Saint becomes deformed.

The slanderer of the Saint receives his punishment in the Court of the Lord.

The slanderer of the Saint is eternally in limbo.

He does not die, but he does not live either.

The hopes of the slanderer of the Saint are not fulfilled.

The slanderer of the Saint departs disappointed.

Slandering the Saint, no one attains satisfaction.

As it pleases the Lord, so do people become;

no one can erase their past actions.

O Nanak, the True Lord alone knows all. ||7||

All hearts are His; He is the Creator.

Forever and ever, I bow to Him in reverence.

Praise God, day and night.

Meditate on Him with every breath and morsel of food.

Everything happens as He wills.

As He wills, so people become.

He Himself is the play, and He Himself is the actor.

Who else can speak or deliberate upon this?

He Himself gives His Name to those, upon whom He bestows His Mercy.

Very fortunate, O Nanak, are those people. ||8||13||

I think guru ji says it all....now who are we to question that?

What defines a Sant,just becasue someone says so and so is a sant dont mean you have to accept it - i think its up to u on a personal level,there are very few REAL sants while there are many 'sants' among us,real sants dont go on world tours,real sants are humble and down to earth they dont seek attention like some 'sants' these days do.A sant is not a Guru nor does he have 'powers' sant siphai=khalsa they are the true Khalsa
