we all know without asking what is rite or rong

does it help you to jap naam, or does it hinder you japping naam?

when you are doing something wrong your man will hardly ever be concentrating on naam, it will be wondering in all directions.

saying this thought, everyday, we do something, no matter how small the action is, that is obviously wrong, ie. bragging about a good mark in class, calling someone something bad behind their backs, and for tht tiny moment of goodness u think u feel, ur naam will be effected perhaps for the whole day, perhaps for longer

davindervirk jio, according to Gurmat a Sikh must do they can to fight the five evils. Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, and Ahankaar are demons within the body which use this vessel for their own pleasures. When one masturbates, or even has intercourse, basically indulging in worldly business, it is not them/their souls which feel the pleasure, the demons within the body are using us so they feel the pleasure themselves. How long does whatever activity we do last for? Whether it be masturbation to any other worldly affair? Everything is lost within the blink of an eye, and thus, to answer your question, masturbation is essentially wrong according to Gurmat principles as we ourselves gain nothing from it, but lose everything. The 5 demons are in control of the mind and body, but when we Jap Naam WE become the controllers. How would you feel if someone was controlling you? Not so happy, but we don't realize that there is evil within us controlling us as well. To fight it, Guru Sahib gave the whole world Gurbani and most importantly, NAAM! So Jap Naam as much as you can, and you yourself will come to realize what is good for you and what is harming you.

Forgive daas for any wrongs committed.
