I LOVE the essay marathons but i cant understand why they have to be restricted to ONE topic. If you just allowed members to post any inspirational essay of their choice we would get more input. I wanted to say that in essay marathon 1 - #6 but i forgot. Free for all essay marathon might be better.

just to address Balait's comment

why have multiple topics in a forum? why not just one big free for all where everyone can contribute whatever it is they want in one massive thread?

In my personal opinion, introspection is a very important concept in Sikhi. If there's something you're not 100% confident about, does that mean you shuldn't face it? My hope is that people at least TRY to write something about multiple topics, even if they feel they don't have substantial knowledge on it. It hasn't been mentinoed in a while, but i think lakhvir veerji mentioned it when he started this concept a couple years ago, when he said the writer of the essay shuld learn at least as much as the reader.

If it was a free-for-all, yeah, it'd still be nice, but it'd be much less prone to having people introspect and SEARCH for an opinion ,a belief, or so forth... and if someone wants to suggest a topic, they're more than welcome to PM me.
