Theres no such thing Gurdwareh are run by masands and money makers is no loner guru da ghar but 'mafia' da ghar as in most Gurdwareh the commitee have links with local thugs and gangsters,the elders don't care most youth don't care and the people who do care and take action are hated by their own community and are put down or set up to get them aressted.A stupid community we have -can't imagine that happening next to a mosque

Bhaaji, Its always been our apne, bring our the panth down, but like you say the people who take action are hated .. dat might be coz of the extent of their actions.... now I guess ya'll have seen this vid about the fight in gurughar in Toronto....

Everyone who dont lke the people who stop beadbhi go and tke a look in the mirror,as singhs have said they will use 'any means what so ever appropriate to stop beadbhi' - we will not tolerate beadbhi to sri guru granth sahib ji,people can hate as mch as the lke in the end they are the 1's messing the panth up,we will not beg wth two hands to people who do beadbhi

this is happening all over the show, up and down the UK theres Gurdwarae with these party halls, its a common site nowadays,

this is an issue that we have all seen for a cuple of years now and as sikhs WE are all guilty of brushing this issue under the carpet.

Committees wil use the following excuses to fob off concerned sangat - theyl say its not funded by the gurdwara, its got a seperate commitee etc

thats all gud but the beadbi still happening on Gurdwara premisis and the committee were obviously the ones that gave the go ahead - nobody jus starts building a hall and having partys with meat and alcohol on Gurdwara premisis without getting permission first!

this needs to be tackled because its getting out of hand now!

There are many issues we don’t see eye to eye but when you state

You are unfortunately right and I would have to agree with you. Why don’t you engage the Sangath starting here and ask for sensible solutions?

An idea I have is if the Gurudwara in your clip wants to host parties etc in the hall they should separate the building from the Gurudwara complex totaly, possibly by having its own entrance own amenities and facilities.Also stopping any access internally via the Gurudwara and the Hall my concern would be if someone is intoxicated and went to and from the Gurudwara side etc etc.

Obviously stopping the parties outright would be the best solution and the easiest one to implement.

If any one else has a suggestion please comment.

I think we should stick with stopping parties outright as it is not the Gurdwara's job to help people have cheaper premises for parties. These premises should be used for Gurmat activities.

Parchaar outside the Gurdwara is a good idea, so that the local sangat can be made aware of the issue. They may not realise that thier actions are wrong.

Maybe local sangat can get petitions signed?

Can anyone clarify which Gurdwara this is?
