sangat ji, if some one please guide me, is it correct to do sahaj paath from this site?

i am doing sahaj paath saheb at the local guru dwara. but some times it is very tough to take time out. (maafi ji)

so since when i seen this cyber swaroop, i am thinking and talking with elderly gursikhs about this.

but most of them given negative answer as "shabad guru de sanmukh ho ke hi paath karna chahida", "sri guru granth sahib ji de pothi swaroop nu he guru ji da darja milya hai", "internet upper darj baani shudh hai ke nahi pata nahi"

please guide this moorakh, sangat ji benti hae

I 've had this dilemma a couple of times, and the elders you speak to are correct. The thing is how can we equate to having nishan and sitting with SGGS maharaj and doing sehaj paat with cyber paat which will be done on the odd occasion you have free sitting on a chair with shoes on and everything else. But all is not bad as maharaj says " jithe har aradiaa thettha har mith sohai" of course you can do paat via cyber means but no way is it the same in comparion to doing traditionally. So the solution is to do it both ways and off and online....!

but my question is, whether or not, can i / anyone do the sahaj paath saheb with my sachcha patshah SGGS ji on the Cyber Swaroop ?

I don't understand how it's more confusing are you saying you want to do it online becasue you cant be asked to go to your local gurdwara somehow and do it or is that you work and have busy lifestyle and don't have time to do seva of mahraj from home and do paat at home?

Half the anand of a sehaj paath comes from reading straight out of a physical saroop.

Trust me, it's ok if you don't get time, the point of a sehaj paath is to take your time anyway! But don't resort to cyber saroops (plus srigranth.org isn't shudh)

If I was a Gursikh i'd tell you no..in the end it's up to you though, I'm just telling you from persnal experience, its better to stick to a physical saroop.

I would be the odd one out to disagree: The "anand" of patt doesn't come from the paper or the ink... its the words that should enlighten you.

As they were saying above, its not good if you have shoes on, sit on a chair, etc. Fine. If you have a laptop, you can sit down, cross legged, wash your hands, and read it that way as well, giving gurbani the same level of respect you would give if you did it from the physical sarroop.

Its shabad Guru, doesn't matter if its in real ink or electronic ink.

According to the Panthic Sikh Rehit Maryada:

e. While undertaking a full reading of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, one should recite Anand Sahib (the first five and the last stanzas) and perform Ardaas. One should, thereafter, read Japuji Sahib.

A Sehaj Paath's Arambh (start) and Bhog (completion) should be done from a Sampooran Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee as a Hukamnama can only be taken from a Sampooran Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee (which cannot be done from the computer or a Pothi Sahib).

After doing Arambh of Sehaj Paath from Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee, if due to personal circumstances if one continues the Sehaj Paath from Pothi Sahibs (small volumes) or from the computer/laptop, then according to elder Gursikhs there is no objection.

However, the Bhog (completion) of the Sehaj Paath should be done in presence of Prakaash Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee, followed by recitation of 6 Paurian of Anand Sahib, Ardaas and Hukamnama. Then Karhah Parshad is distributed.

So where in that quote from rehat maryada does it say the beginning and end parts must be done from a physical saroop?

Its Bani Guru, Guru hai Bani... not paper guru, nor ink guru, nor glue backing guru.
