I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I came across this article on BBC News -

yea i ate mars many years ago and i am sure that time it dnt contain aminal products but it contained eggs i doubt.

once i ask my dad to bring gummy bears and i ate all of them and later i come to know tat these contain gelatin which is takenm from pork ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

next time i ask my cousin to bring vegan gummy bears for me but he the stupid guy send me ordinary gummybears.

i email the company to confirm if the gummy bears contain veg gelatin.

they replied," we obtian gelatin from pork"

from that time i alwsays check the ingredients of all chocolate.

even all my relatives keep in mind that they have not to bring egg contained chocolates for me.

if i doubt... read the label , if still in doubt dont eat it... go do some paat:D lol

i am shocked. why did they do this. omg. im not happy at all. so wat other chocolates that Mars make that we veggies cant have?

are nestle chocolate ok?? driffter is my favourite choc..........

let me get this clear the Mars made chocs which which have sell by date up to october the 1st of this yr is ok to eat yea??

hmmmmmm not really a big deal as I don’t like mars or twix or bounty Lol, it’s all about whole nut! But yeah, it’s another reason we should strive to make our own food, so we can be extra vigilant about the things going into it, for all you chocolate fans, try making chocolate covered flap jacks or chocolate cake!

Also as a general note due to summer, check the ingredients in ice cream, some contain egg and other animal products, and a lot of the time we take this sort of food for granted, so make sure to ask your ice cream vala man! Knowing our local guy he won’t be out now when we need him, come December he’ll start doing his rounds!!

Please do write to masterfoods and get them to reconsider their recipe for Twix and Bounty in particular.

On the other hand, theres more important issues out there in the world that need protesting. Just dont eat the chocolate...
