If you actually think she'll convert to sikhi and you can help her, then go for it (maybe... I personally wouldn't, but if you think you guys have that strong of a bond or whatever...), but if not, then you're just giving the world another example for why it doesn't matter if they cut their hair, they can still do anything they want (ie marry a Sikh boy).
