Could someone explain the meaning of the words in red please?

What is the proper term for 'word'? (in reference to Gurbani)

Could someone type Mahan Kosh in punjabi please? (dont know how it's pronounced)

Thanks

It's pronounced ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼

ਦੁਲਭ = rare

ਕਉਨ = what; ਕਾਮ = use (like work, ਕਮ)

ਅਰਥ = this can mean 'meaning, interpretation' or 'material things, wealth'

(In this case I think it means 'meaning' because Guru Saheb is saying "What use are false displays" as in, what is the real meaning behind showing off. Come to think of it, ਅਰਥ could also refer to showing off 'wealth'.. perhaps someone can help me out here.)

ਮਿਰਤਕ = dead person

ਸੀਗਾਰ = ornament, decoration

ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ = this is made up from two words - ਪਰਮ and ਅਨੰਦ - a way of describing Vaheguru as being of Supreme Bliss.

ਪਸੁ = animal

ਪੰਖੀ = birds

ਤ੍ਰਿਗਦ = insects

ਮਾਹਿ = inside, within.

Hopefully my older brothers Talikhaak/Akirtghan and the rest of the sangat will correct any mistakes I made.
