guru sahib tells us that God has no lineage or caste. and every sikh's mission in life is to sing the praises of God and merge into those virtues, so when we become one with god, we too have no lineage, kul, got, etc etc....

all those virtues of god we sing are not to be distinct from us, they are the hidden virtues within us all, which make us divine and thsi human life a jewel.

don't fall into this old indian dogma of lineages and what not, our guru sahib broke us from those chains a long long time ago.
