i have a wedding next week, it is close family, but i dont WANA GOOOOOOOO cant get out of it

going to hate every second, .. the loud music, people drinking, arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

what should i do? please, will try to keep simran going, but im dreading it :console:

gets to me more, seeing gurujee;s sikhs acting like freaks!! dancing, drinking, chit chatty with others, arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, duno wat to do

pls give me advice.

in all fairness if its a close wedding you should go..

they going to think you going to ''extreams''....trust me iv been there...

wanting to focus on sikhi is amazing but in all fairness you have to keep family happy at the sametime...

talking from experience you got to keep a balance...

if theres no way out do..take your ipod/mp3 with you and listen to your kirtan or katha on ipod/mp3..

ignore the dancing, drinking, etc...

sorry if iv said anything thats not made sense..

well, the prob is, wedding is 4 hours away gona have to go on coach wid fam .. rather watch paint dry lol

and yeh gona take mp3 on the way etc, i knw im gona be called extreme if i listen in silly halll... but i will.

and yeh, i hate weddings! wish i cud come home after anand karaj, but i will be 100000s miles away from home
