If there any in need of any University advice or require any help in Law please do contact me as this is one of the areas in which I have practiced in NB this is UK law only.

It would also be useful if others who could post their expertise to help others in need of help in the particular area.

It would be very useful in the sewa section could be divided in separate sections where people could post their services for free to help others.

Thank you very much sadh sangat.

First let me correct the LB status it is actually and LLB that one obtains after completing a Law Degree. I shall now cover each point in turn.

The Law Degree is much easier that A Levels in terms of work load; the reason being because the degree is divided into modules which last about 3 months top, therefore you only really learn the gist of the subject and do not cover the subject in much detail as one would in they covered in under A Level.

International law can be taken under any module of the Law Degree eg international family law, international criminal law.

In regards to a personal statement on a UCAS form, I really would not worry too much, unless you are apply to a university in the top 5; as many do not really take much note of the personal statement – it really is all down to the entry grades. The basics should however include your interest in the subject, and say basically its where you want to end up in life ie legal environment. Any experience or training should also be noted as it shows one is keen. You can PM me a copy if you like and I will check it for you; by the way grammar and punctuation should be top. Always read the final draft and do not rely on spell check.

It is unlikely the university will check your placement if you were to be receiving work experience, though it is possible, but bear in mind this is a simply personal statement and not a job application which requires referees (references). So basically one really could make up a whole of rubbish, and so long as they could back it up, it really does not matter, but I would advise you to be honest. Keep in mind that the teachers read hundreds of personal statements that are basically are going to contain the same information, eg everyone as been interested in law since they were a child and want to grow up to be a lawyer. Therefore it will catch the readers attention if you mention anything that is different which shows your interest or knowledge, eg like carrying out courts visits to help you understand the Legal System.

I hope this information is sufficient for your purposes. If you do however require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

hello Anonymous Kaur,

I am not really specialised in the area of pharmacy though I can provide some general advice.

In terms of a ‘good’ university it is really a case of what it is you are seeking in a university. A ‘good’ university might be one that is highly ranked in the UK overall which is likely to be LSE, UCL and Kings – this can be done through a top 100 university search on google try to find The Times link for this. Another search should also be carried out specifically for medicine to find out the top 50 or 10 universities as results may vary according to the top 100 results.

Try to narrow your choice of university in terms of distance via the UCAS website.

Where you do find the universities of your interest try to obtain their prospectus as you may be surprised to find that some universities will have certain facilities available for students which others would not provide eg car park space.

If you look through the prospectus you will notice under each subject it may stated that the university has been awarded a grade – this will show if the subject has been taught well according to results – 5* is top Oxford university standard and 1* is quite poor.

I do believe that Kings is renowned for its high standards in medicine/science and this also goes for UCL.

It may be a good option for you to visit these universities that you prefer as it will provide a more general feel of what the university provides. For instance the extra support they provide in their career services.

It should be noted however that a university with top results will not always appeal to all because you will find that most the students are highly academic and it may sometimes cause one to be left behind. Also the teachers expect the students to study more and not expect them to ask for too much help when it comes to exams, for contrast to a university with lower grades you will find the teachers make the exam periods really easy for students by literally eliminating the topics which would not appear in the exam.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you require any more advice though my knowledge is quite limited for a pharmacy course.

u wanna do an essay for me? tongue.gif

I am afraid I cannot write out a fully complete essay for someone. I could however guide you in writing out the essay, but plagiarism is not something I promote
