Gurdwara Voting Cards?

Ok, Mum and Dad recently got my card made so I could vote for which commitee to elect. And I was like ok :6

I thought who do I vote for? Most of the members are old men and don't represent the youth, and thinking about it; nor do they represent the Bibia, so i dunno who they vote for?

I've heard that sometimes the commitees only give cards to selected people to who they think will vote for them. this true ?

Anyone care to Raise some light on the issue.
