The point of doing kesi ishnaan everyday before nitnem and naam abhiyaas is basically your getting ready and having ishnaan as you did for amrit sanchar. following your ishnaan you would jaap naam and do nitnem bani as done in amrit sanchaar at amrit vela creating amrit with in your self.

Vaheguruuu

p.s. amrit sanchaar in east London next week, see events section :p

Its like sayin is there a rehitnama for sayin you must wash both arms for ur ishnaan, or can u just wash one :6

Hair is part of u, just like u wash the hair on ur legs and arms, u wash the hair on your head. Just because its longer, it dont matta. Full ishnaan including washing of the kesh should be done everyday.

Ishnaan should take place as soon as one wakes up, then seated naam simran and nitnem should be done.

At the end of the day no amount of washing is going to get you anywhere.

According to the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, one must wash oneself with spiritual wisdom - the Naam.

ok then lets not have ishnaan then anymore, because were not gonna get anywhere.

its about bein pure on the inside AND outside. we have to make sure our bosdy is clean before we do certain seva etc.

of course whilst having our ishnaan, we are meant to be japping naam aswel.

I guess they have no need for showers in Transylvania, eh?

the vampire, just wondering, why would you address a living person with "the" and how can someone alive be "a rehit maryada"?

It might have been a mistake, Singhstah. Not everyone knows you shouldn't put "the" when referring to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Don't put people on the spot and assume they don't understand certain concepts when we hardly know anything either.
