howdy partner.

i play. =).

so.. the easiest way, ( for all you who don't have too much background in music ),

is to get a chromatic tuner.

the only other way would be for you to recognize the sound of Sa from the taanpura, and be able to match your string with it. ( takes a while to get the hang of this if your new at music ).

if you get a chormatic tuner,

D= Sa. E= Re. F= Ga. G= Ma.

and so on.

makes sense?
