I was thinking to post this topic long time back , but every time you post something anti hindu, people will start calling u racist, anti hindu etc.

Yesterday i was watching videos of seminar organised by Akali Dal(PP) on sant ji , where a sikh scholar Ajmer Singh said The biggest question for sikhs today is how to live with hindus.

http://www.sikhsiyasat.com/misc.html

He Pointed out that without the support of local people or majority community , a dictator cant survive.

Without the support of Local germans Genocide of jews was not possible , just like without the support of hindus genoicide of sikhs was not possible.

Why we forget the violence against sikhs after 1984 like attack in haryana in 1988 by hindus , attack of rishikesh , Attack on sikh college in bidar and Hindu grops targets sikhs in Nanded during Ganesh pooja.

Another person name Jaspal singh said what hindus did to sikhs in delhi and to muslims in Gujrat is not new , they are doing this to dalits for thousand of years.

Please watch all the videos , where sikh schlars will expose the real face of so called Secular Hiduuuuu stan , hindustani media and Hindus.

what a sadistic topic and sadistic individual who started this topic..true example of mob mentality in sikh panth..u have given examples of few hindus attacking sikhs during the riots but u have ignored examples of many hindu families who u have saved sikhs durin riots all across indian....these families have endagered their own lives by giving refuge to innocent sikhs in their house.

Who think khalsa panth does not have hate hongers, fanatics, sikh mobs and sikh with potential terrorist intent..just check out this topic..

Amar_jkp is right to some extent. Hindus like Sikhism but not Sikhs. They see Sikhism as a reformist movement of hinduism and gurus as hindu prophets. That is why majority of Hindus deep down do not much like Guru Gobind Singh, who formed Khalsa and completly broke off from Hinduism.

As for 84 riots only some hindus came out in open support of sikhs. Majority felt that sikhs needed to be taught a lesson and gave silent support to rioters. A prominent congress leader from delhi won by a margin of 5 lakh votes. He had killed largest number of sikhs in his constituency. Tavleen singh, a female reporter and a sikh, said that the verdict in elections given by hindu majority showed that they felt that the riots were right. The people who forget the injuries done to them do not deserve to survive. Guru Gobind singh had said that if someone throws a brick at you, then hit him back hard with a stone.

If i had some kind of divine power, i would pack all sikh wimpies in a shuttle and send them to mars.

For those people who find it difficult to live with Hindus .. they can learn from my experience

Right from childhood I hated the hindu esp the North Indian hindu. I have always found them brash, arrogant, insensitive, stupid, loud yet ineffective etc. I had always felt closer to muslims and Sikhs. More towards muslim I must say.

My barber was a muslim, the guy from whom I got meats was a muslim, my car mechanic was a muslim (car was old model Premier Padmini or Fiat), my favorite teachers were muslim, I used to have my best time when I roamed around muslim monuments in Old Delhi. I felt at peace in muslim mosques in Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. I used to love muslim restaurants like Karim's. Used to absolutely love that muslim feel all around with ancient architecture. In fact being around muslims always bought peace to my hearts. I would seek out muslim guys in school, college etc. Like to hang out with them. Religion-wise I felt more at peace with muslim because background of both religions were mostly similar. Old Testament was common to both muslims and Christians.

being around hindus I felt that I was amongst a lot of people who were constantly cribbing, bitching, fighting, they were mostly loveless, uncaring, no sense of soceity (or community), so sense of unity as I found in muslims areas.

Then it was quite late in my life that certain changes occured within me and around and for the first time I began to empathize with the hindu.

Maybe you yourself have turned to cribbing, bitching, fighting, they were mostly loveless, uncaring etc. and become like them. As they say, an apple for an apple. :p

I was too naive and trusting .. and thus mostly on the receiving end of anything bad.

Also being of the very sensitive type didn't help as I used to always get extremely agitated by dissonance. One human behaving badly with the other etc.

Being in Delhi I had lots of lahori Hindus as friends, classmates, aquaintances. And all them seemed pretty prejudiced in one way or the other.

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
