Please note that the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182 released the submissions it received from various parties and intervenors. World Sikh Organization of Canada was the sole intervenor representing Canadian Sikh community and has expressed its views in its submission. You can go to the attached link to view the submission from WSO and other parties.

World Sikh Organization of Canada has been seeking justice since 1985 and asked for a public inquiry in 1985. kindly stick to the topic guys, this topic has very little to do with actual trial or who did the bombing of air india or not? Not long ago, canadian gov't finally decided to public inquiry into this air india bombing, they have assigned john major to do the inquiry.. inquiry was all done, above submission was by World Sikh Organizations of Canada who they were given very limited acess to represent sikh community in the public inquiry. Please read the full submission, you be suprised so called moderates now- tara singh hayer and co were one point promoting khalistan and tara singh hayer all of sudden made a huge U turn and start cussing khalistan ... submission talks about how soft target authors were aslo not invited in the public inquiry of air india bombing... so please stick to the topic.

There is not much in Soft Target so it is not a surprise the authors were not called. There is no real evidence and the pro Parmar brigade always harp on about a few non attributed statements. The same pro Parmar briage then forget the accusations levelled on Parmar in the book and question marks about his wealth.

Soft target is pure theory. Some of the stuff is pure speculation. The fact is that Parmer had brought his nine bedroom house in 1973 before the movement had kicked off but lots of people make out he used money form the movement to buy his house(s).

Why would the authors be invited? Also isn't hayer dead now shot dead for mouthing off too much? I personally think the evidence against Parmer being responsible for the bombing is present but nothing conclusive. Also I have read many speeches from when Parmers out fit started that they wanted to kill 50 000 Hindu's and anyone who travelled on air India was taking their life into their own hands. I don't think that is evidence that can bring a conviction but it does make you think. I think Parmer was a lion and as such he is celebrated in Canada as a hero.

The reason he fell out with other babbers was due to the fact he was too hard core in his planned operations, at the end of the day he fought the war his way, as we choose to fight ours behind a computer. May his memory live on for thousands of years. The finger of being an agent has been pointed at many great martyrs of the movement if we believed everyone we would have non left to celebrate as heroes. Binderwala was made out to be agent for indria as well don't forget!!
