vaheguru je ka khalsa vaheguru je ke fateh

(yup admins on the forum are brilliant :) hence why its a reallly nice forum to be part of)

tat khalsa was the singhs who believed in guru granth sahib and not banda singh bahadur as their guru so it just means the khalsa panth

hence why the forum is called tatkhalsa.#

vaheguru je ka khalsa vaheguru je ke fateh

yes that was the original tat khalsa who are now the Dal khalsa. The term tat khalsa now used was coined to describe the sikhs of the Lahore Singh Sabha movement, and would now apply to the SGPC and various jathas affiliated with them.

So nowadays the term tat khalsa doesn't apply to the original users lol.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Jee was a TATT KHALSA. As long as he was alive, he dint allow anyone to call him guru. May be after his shaheedi, some people might have started calling him a guru.

Baba Banda Singh jee was one if not the most powerful generals of Sikh History.

He must have had HUGE HUGE kamayee of previous janams and would have had some rishta with Satguru jee and thats why Guru Sahib chose him when he had so many other singhs and even 3 pyaras with him.

Read up on your history of Banda Singh Bahadur.

He was a great general and did have lots of kamayee and did great things for the panth, however, he succumbed to haumai at one stage, but paid the price. It's explained in Suraj Parkash Granth as well as other puratan sources. He had a lot of shakti and never lost a battle, but when he forgot who gave him this shakti, his army was defeated and he was captured.

It's all part of Guru ji's play - a valuable lesson in humility.

I think there's even a letter written by him, in his handwriting with his own "Fateh Darshan" instead of "Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!".
